Best Omnichannel Marketing Software in 2026: 12 Platforms Compared

A fit-first comparison of 12 platforms named in 2026 multichannel marketing research, with documented capabilities for four vendors and a practical framework for evaluating data, journeys, consent, measurement, and operating needs.

There is no source-supported universal winner among omnichannel marketing platforms. The right choice depends on the channels you need to coordinate, the quality and location of your customer data, how journeys respond to consent and behavior changes, and the capacity your team has to run the system.

This comparison separates four platforms with documented channel and workflow descriptions—Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Marketo Engage, and Klaviyo—from eight additional platforms named in Gartner’s 2026 multichannel marketing hubs research. That research inclusion is a useful market signal, not a ranking or proof that a platform is right for a particular business. Product capabilities below are attributed to vendors where applicable; they are not independent test results.

What omnichannel marketing software is designed to do

An omnichannel marketing platform coordinates customer data, permissions, audience decisions, journeys, and messages across connected channels. The aim is continuity: a customer’s behavior or preference on one channel can inform what happens next on another. A tool that sends email, SMS, and push campaigns independently may cover several channels without coordinating their timing, eligibility, or content.

That distinction matters most when a business needs behavior-triggered journeys, shared audience rules, or consent-aware messaging across multiple touchpoints. How much coordination a platform can deliver depends on its product edition, integrations, implementation, and the organization’s data and operating model.

In its Magic Quadrant for Multichannel Marketing Hubs, published 22 September 2026, Gartner wrote: “AI assistants and agents are commonplace in multichannel marketing hubs in 2026. What separates platforms now is control: advanced decision-making algorithms that optimize journey, offer and consent state at the moment of action, governing what both humans and AI can do in service of engagement.” That is Gartner’s market framing, not evidence that every listed platform provides the same controls.

Omnichannel marketing platforms at a glance

The first four rows have vendor-described capabilities summarized below. Gartner’s abstract names the remaining eight platforms as included vendors but does not provide the channel, workflow, pricing, or edition detail needed to compare them on those dimensions. No current, comparable pricing is established here.

1. Braze: for teams coordinating messaging across many channels

Braze describes a platform that brings together email, SMS/RCS, push notifications, in-app and browser messages, messaging apps, landing pages, and paid social. Its product description also covers journey orchestration, dynamic personalization, A/B and multivariate testing, streaming data, segmentation, identity resolution, analytics, and integrations.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

This breadth makes Braze a candidate for organizations that want to coordinate messaging and behavioral journeys across several digital touchpoints. A buyer should map the exact channels and integrations needed to the edition and implementation under consideration; the general product description does not establish universal availability or suitability.

Braze’s cited omnichannel page does not state a comparable current price. It includes customer examples, but those reported outcomes should be treated as vendor-presented examples, not independent evidence of expected results.

2. Salesforce Marketing Cloud: for teams assessing marketing journeys within a Salesforce environment

Salesforce describes email, SMS, push, digital advertising, and third-party messaging channels. Its buyer guidance highlights native data connectivity, channel breadth, flexibility for simple and complex journeys, measurement, embedded AI, support and training, dependability, and scalability.

Salesforce also describes its next-generation marketing capabilities as built natively on its platform. Product naming and availability can depend on market and account, so distinguish the specific offering in a proposal from broad platform-level descriptions. Its cited materials do not establish a comparable current price.

Rank #2
Express Schedule Free Employee Scheduling Software [PC/Mac Download]
  • Simple shift planning via an easy drag & drop interface
  • Add time-off, sick leave, break entries and holidays
  • Email schedules directly to your employees

This is a reasonable candidate when Salesforce connectivity and platform alignment are central evaluation criteria. Compare the required journey and data flows against the actual product configuration being offered rather than treating every Salesforce marketing capability as a single, uniform package.

3. Adobe Marketo Engage: for campaign workflows spanning web, mobile, advertising, and social

Adobe describes web forms and landing pages that pass data into campaigns and workflows. Its materials also describe triggered SMS and mobile-app messaging using the mobile SDK for iOS and Android, advertising audience activation to networks including Google, LinkedIn, and Facebook, and social activity and measurement for Facebook, LinkedIn, and X.

These descriptions make Marketo Engage a candidate for teams connecting campaign workflows with web response, mobile messaging, advertising audiences, or social activity. Adobe’s cited materials do not establish that every channel is available in every edition, region, or consent configuration; confirm those details for the proposed deployment. A comparable current price is not stated.

4. Klaviyo: for connected subscriber messaging and campaign or flow analytics

Klaviyo’s solution page describes adding subscribers across email, text, WhatsApp, social, and web. It also describes cross-channel analytics and attribution for campaigns and flows.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

That positioning makes Klaviyo a candidate when the evaluation centers on managing subscriber communications and understanding campaigns or automated flows across channels. The cited page does not establish independent performance comparisons or that the described setup applies equally to every business type. It does not state a comparable current price.

5. Airship: Gartner-listed, with product fit to confirm

Airship is one of the vendors named in Gartner’s 2026 Magic Quadrant for Multichannel Marketing Hubs. The abstract establishes its inclusion in that research, but does not describe Airship’s channel coverage, journey features, plans, or pricing. Inclusion is not an endorsement or a finding that it is a fit for a particular buyer.

6. Bloomreach: Gartner-listed, with product fit to confirm

Bloomreach is named in Gartner’s 2026 multichannel marketing hubs research. Gartner’s abstract does not provide product-level channel, workflow, edition, or pricing detail for Bloomreach, so its inclusion should be treated as a market-list reference rather than a product comparison.

7. CleverTap: Gartner-listed, with product fit to confirm

CleverTap appears among the vendors named in Gartner’s 2026 multichannel marketing hubs research. The abstract does not establish its specific channel mix, journey controls, pricing, or deployment requirements.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

8. Insider One: Gartner-listed, with product fit to confirm

Insider One is included in Gartner’s 2026 vendor list for multichannel marketing hubs. That source does not describe Insider One’s product capabilities or commercial terms, so no channel or pricing comparison can be drawn from the abstract alone.

9. Iterable: Gartner-listed, with product fit to confirm

Iterable is named in Gartner’s 2026 multichannel marketing hubs research. Gartner’s abstract does not state Iterable’s channel coverage, orchestration features, edition availability, or price.

10. MoEngage: Gartner-listed, with product fit to confirm

MoEngage is among the vendors included in Gartner’s 2026 multichannel marketing hubs research. The abstract confirms the listing but does not provide the product details needed to assess channel fit, implementation, or current cost.

11. Optimove: Gartner-listed, with product fit to confirm

Optimove appears in Gartner’s 2026 list of multichannel marketing hubs vendors. The abstract does not establish its capabilities, plan structure, or pricing, and listing alone does not determine its suitability for a buyer.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

12. SAP: Gartner-listed, with product fit to confirm

SAP is named among the vendors included in Gartner’s 2026 multichannel marketing hubs research. The abstract does not identify relevant product editions, channels, journey functionality, or pricing for this comparison.

How to choose an omnichannel marketing platform

Start with the customer journeys the business actually needs to run, then map the data, permissions, channels, and operating work behind them. Mark every requirement as required, desirable, or not needed before comparing vendors.

1. Define channel requirements

List both outbound and inbound touchpoints: email, SMS, push, in-app or web messaging, messaging apps, advertising, and any offline channels. Separate channels the team needs to send through from channels it needs to coordinate with or measure. Confirm whether a named channel is supported in the relevant region and edition.

2. Map customer data and identity

Document the events and profile data the platform must receive, where they live, how quickly they must arrive, and which systems own them. Include CRM, commerce, service, analytics, and data warehouse connections. Ask how identity resolution works, how duplicates or merged identities are handled, and what happens when a person’s records conflict.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

3. Specify journey behavior, not just message types

Write down the event that starts each journey, its cross-channel branches, suppression and frequency rules, and the outcome when a customer changes preferences mid-journey. Test whether the platform can stop or reroute a message after eligibility changes, rather than only demonstrating a happy-path campaign.

4. Review consent and governance

Check how permission records are represented by channel and purpose, how preference changes take effect, and which access controls, audit records, and retention settings are available. Map these needs to the jurisdictions in which the business operates. Product descriptions do not by themselves establish legal compliance; involve the organization’s privacy and legal teams in evaluating the actual configuration.

5. Decide how results will be measured

Specify attribution assumptions, experiments or holdouts, reporting latency, exports, and how campaign activity will be connected to business outcomes. Determine whether the team can access the underlying outcome data needed to check reports against its own systems.

6. Estimate operating effort and resilience

Account for setup and migration, required skills and staffing, campaign-management work, support and training, and any agency or implementation assistance. Define expected peak volume, latency needs, deliverability and service commitments, failure handling, and architecture dependencies. Compare total cost over the intended contract period, not just a headline subscription amount.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

7. Run a scoped proof of concept

Use the buyer’s own event examples, consent states, channels, and reporting requirements. Ask the vendor to demonstrate identity merges, cross-channel suppression, a preference change during an active journey, and export of raw outcome data. Request a written quote that itemizes setup, usage, messaging, service, and overage costs; pricing and implementation estimates are not comparable in the available product descriptions.

How to interpret analyst lists and rankings

Gartner’s 22 September 2026 abstract names Adobe, Airship, Bloomreach, Braze, CleverTap, Insider One, Iterable, Klaviyo, MoEngage, Optimove, Salesforce, and SAP as vendors included in its multichannel marketing hubs research. The complete Magic Quadrant, vendor strengths and cautions, and full evaluation criteria are not reproduced in the abstract. The abstract therefore does not support inferring vendor positions or treating its list as a rank order.

ISG’s Buyers Guide: CRM Platforms (2026) is a different kind of comparison: it evaluated 12 providers and ranked Salesforce, Oracle, and HubSpot as its top three overall leaders in that CRM-platform evaluation. ISG weighted Product Experience at 80% and Customer Experience at 20%, and considered factors including adaptability, manageability, reliability, usability, governance, scalability, and integration. Those methodology figures describe ISG’s CRM evaluation; they do not establish marketing-hub performance or prove a product’s value for every organization. ISG also cautions that ratings alone do not indicate universal suitability.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does omnichannel marketing software guarantee that every customer sees a consistent message?

No. A platform can coordinate configured data, journeys, and channel rules, but consistency depends on the connected systems, identity and preference data, implementation, and the rules the organization chooses. A disconnected source or an outdated permission record can undermine the intended experience.

Does cross-channel attribution prove that a campaign caused a sale?

Not by itself. Attribution assigns credit according to a chosen model and available data; it is not automatically a causal test. If the business needs evidence of incremental effect, specify a suitable experiment or holdout and examine whether the platform’s reporting supports that approach.

Can an AI assistant decide whether a message is appropriate to send?

AI features do not remove the need for explicit eligibility rules, governance, and human oversight. Define which decisions automation may make, what consent and suppression controls constrain it, and how the organization can audit or override a decision.
