Sweetfull is worth considering if you want a basic model and value matters; its reported runtime depends strongly on the speed setting.
“Bladeless” does not mean silent or sensation-free. Air still has to move, so expect operating noise, and pay attention to where vents direct it. How long does a neck fan battery last?
Runtime figures are only comparable when the speed setting and test conditions match. Popular Mechanics reported about four hours for the Sweetfull at its highest setting. Bob Vila reported just over six hours for the same model on its lowest setting during its testing. Those results describe different settings and different publishers’ tests; they are not conflicting claims about one standardized runtime.

These are manufacturer figures, not independently measured results in the cited sources. Expect higher speeds to use more battery, and treat advertised maximum runtime as a best-case setting-specific claim rather than a promise for all-day use at any speed.
What to check before buying
- Fit and adjustability: Look for a shape that sits securely without pressing uncomfortably against the neck. If possible, check return terms in case the fit or airflow direction does not suit you.
- Noise: Fan noise can matter more when the device is close to your ears, especially in quiet offices or on public transport. A review’s description of a model as quiet is not a standardized decibel measurement.
