There is no evidence-based universal “best” IWB holster for the Glock 48: the right match depends on whether your pistol has a rail or MOS slide, whether you carry a weapon light, and which adjustments and carry positions you need. The maker-stated options below clarify those differences, but none has been independently tested here for comfort, concealment, or retention. Verify your exact setup in the holster maker’s current fit selector before ordering.
Start with your exact Glock 48 setup
Holster fit is configuration-specific. A standard Glock 48, a rail-equipped model, an MOS model, and a pistol with a mounted light are not automatically interchangeable in a given holster. Aftermarket changes can also affect fit. Use the maker’s fit notes for the precise pistol and accessories you will carry.

That distinction matters especially for light-bearing holsters: some are shaped around a particular light and require it to remain attached. A holster listed for a Glock 48 does not, by itself, establish compatibility with every rail, optic, or light combination.

Choose by the feature you actually need
For a rail-equipped G48 and adjustable carry position
The Vedder LightTuck is a documented starting point if you want an IWB model for a Glock 48 with rail and want to adjust retention, cant, and ride height. Use its current selectors to check optic and light fit rather than assuming that every accessory setup is covered.
For a G48 carried with a compatible light

For a listed TLR-7 Sub family combination
Tulster’s ARC page presents light-bearing IWB versions for Glock 48/MOS with named TLR-7 Sub family variants. Treat that as a narrow, model-specific fit claim—not proof that other lights or altered pistols will fit.

GLOCK lists its slim Sport/Combat holster for G43, G43X, and G48. Because the cited product page does not call it IWB, it cannot be recommended here as a confirmed inside-the-waistband choice.

What the Glock 48’s dimensions do—and do not—tell you
In its January 2, 2018 launch announcement, GLOCK reported a 6.85-inch slide for the G48 and a 6.06-inch slide for the G43X, while describing the models as sharing a frame size but having different slide lengths. The announcement also described the launch Slimline pistols as 9×19 models with 10-round magazines. These are historical, manufacturer-reported launch details, not a complete specification for every current-market variant or jurisdiction. They help explain why a maker may list both models while still requiring the exact holster version; they do not prove universal interchangeability.

- Identify whether your pistol is standard, rail-equipped, or MOS, and note any aftermarket changes.
- Check the holster maker’s current selector for that exact model and every accessory you will carry, including the specific mounted light and optic.
- Read the maker’s carry-mode and adjustment information. Do not assume an IWB listing means AIWB suitability, or that a light-bearing shell works without its required light.
- Follow the holster and firearm manufacturers’ instructions for fit and use. For firearm handling and maintenance, consult GLOCK’s official owner resources, which include the G17–G48 owner’s manual and safety-awareness materials.
Fit confirmation is more useful than an unsupported comfort ranking: the available product pages state compatibility and features, but provide no independent comparison across body types, clothing, carry positions, or users.
