Manor Lords is the closest pick if you want a medieval town economy alongside territory and battles. For a more relaxed, free-form town, choose Foundation; for detailed fort building and colony management, try Going Medieval. Kingdoms and Castles offers a lighter kingdom-building loop, while Banished is a strong fit for survival-focused settlement management.
The best choice depends on what you want to keep from Farthest Frontier: farming and survival, town design, combat, or hands-on management of individual settlers.

What makes a game feel like Farthest Frontier?
Farthest Frontier is a PC town builder about establishing a settlement in the wilderness and keeping it supplied through farming, crafting, trade, and survival. It is medieval-inspired, but Crate Entertainment says it is not tied to a particular real-world location or historical era (official game overview; official FAQ).

Its survival systems are adjustable: the FAQ says players can lower difficulty and turn off disease and combat. That matters when choosing an alternative. Some games below lean harder into battles, while others trade survival pressure for building freedom or a more focused castle-and-colony experience.
