How to take a full-page screenshot on iPhone
- Open the webpage in Safari and wait for it to load.
- Take a screenshot: on a Face ID iPhone, quickly press and release the Side and Volume Up buttons together. On an iPhone with a Home button, quickly press and release Side and Home together.
- Tap the screenshot preview before it disappears.
- Choose Full Page. Inspect the right-side preview; drag through it to review the capture and crop if needed.
- Save the result to Photos, or choose the PDF saving option to save it to Files.
Apple’s documented example is an entire webpage in Safari. Do not assume the Full Page control appears in every app or embedded browser. Apple’s instructions describe capturing beyond the visible screen and saving a full-page capture.

How to save a full-page webpage as a PDF in Firefox for iPhone
- Open the webpage in Firefox for iOS and take a screenshot using the iPhone buttons.
- Tap the screenshot thumbnail, then choose Full Page.
- Tap Done and select Save as PDF.
This is the documented option when you want a shareable or archival PDF rather than a long image file. Mozilla’s article was created January 5, 2023; if the controls differ in your installed version, consult its current support page.

How to take a scrolling screenshot on Android
- Open the webpage and take a screenshot. Google’s general instructions use Power and Volume Down together.
- Tap Capture more at the bottom of the screen.
- Adjust the crop guides to include the scrollable content you want, then save.
Google describes this feature for Android 12 and later on most screens that allow scrolling. If Capture more is absent, that page or device may not support the flow. Pixel Help documents the same capture process and finding, editing, and sharing the image through Photos. Fallback: capture a full page in Firefox on a computer
- Open the page in Firefox desktop.
- Right-click an empty area of the page and choose Take Screenshot.
- Choose Save full page, then save the image or copy it to the clipboard.
This can help when the phone has no full-page control and you can use a computer. It captures the desktop page; making the browser window mobile-sized is a separate setup, and the cited instructions do not establish that it will match a phone’s exact rendering. Check the capture and troubleshoot missing controls
- You only got the visible screen: a normal screenshot is the first step. Open its preview and select Full Page or Capture more as a separate action, when available.
- Full Page is missing on iPhone: try the webpage in Safari, Apple’s clearest documented use case. Identical behavior in every app or browser is not established.
- Capture more is missing on Android: verify that the device runs Android 12 or later, try a screen that allows scrolling, and check the phone manufacturer’s instructions. Google qualifies support as applying to most scrollable screens, not all of them.
- The result looks incomplete: review the saved capture for missing content or overlays. Let the page load before capturing and retry if needed. Official instructions do not specify how lazy-loaded images, sticky elements, nested scroll regions, or very tall documents behave across device models, so inspect the actual result rather than assuming those details are preserved.
- You need a long image but used Firefox for iOS: Mozilla’s cited workflow specifies saving as PDF; it does not establish a long PNG or JPEG export.
