ghd says the Platinum+ Styler’s rounded barrel can create loose waves as well as straight styles, and lists the styler as universal voltage. Does “available everywhere” mean you can use it abroad?
No. Voltage compatibility and retail availability are different things. A tool advertised as universal or auto-world voltage may adapt electrically to different supply voltages, but it may still be unavailable in a destination country, sold in a different regional configuration, or covered by a warranty that does not travel with you.

- Confirm whether you need a plug adapter. An adapter changes plug fit; it does not convert voltage.
- Check the destination country’s power supply and the manufacturer’s instructions.
