Repair common Windows errors and clear accumulated junk for a smoother, more stable PC - no reinstall needed.Free scan · no reinstallStart with Community Framework (CF), Workshop ID 1559212036. It is the dependency that several DayZ server guides identify as necessary for resolving conflicts between mod communication types, and many other mods will not load correctly without it. Add BaseBuildingPlus (BBP), Workshop ID 1710977250, when you want substantially more construction pieces and then choose optional content according to your server’s map and play style. Verify every item on its live Steam Workshop page before installing: several IDs circulating in 2026 guide summaries have not been independently confirmed, and Workshop status banners can be misleading.
Recommended DayZ server mods at a glance
The table separates the two entries with confirmed Workshop pages from suggestions that still require a live check. “Confidence” describes how strongly the available documentation supports the ID and role; it is not a popularity or performance rating.
| Mod | Workshop ID | What it does | Evidence status | Best fit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Community Framework (CF) | 1559212036 | Framework intended to prevent conflicting RPC type IDs between DayZ mods | Verified on the Steam Workshop page and two host guides | Most modded servers; install first |
| BaseBuildingPlus (BBP) | 1710977250 | Adds expanded base-building content | Verified on the Steam Workshop page and installation documentation; one host lists a conflicting ID | Servers that make construction a central activity |
| Code Lock | 1646187754 | Replaces physical padlock keys with four-digit combination codes for doors and gates | Unverified search-summary reference | Convenience-focused base security, after a live-page check |
| Namalsk | 2289456201 | Frozen community island, described in a guide summary as roughly 27 km² | Unverified search-summary reference | Servers deliberately built around a different map |
| DayZ Expansion | Individual IDs not established | Suite reported to include Core, Vehicles, Market, AI, Missions, Base Building and Navigation modules | Modules and IDs require individual Workshop verification | Large, multi-system overhaul only after dependency mapping |
| BulletStacksPlusPlus, Unlimited Stamina, InventoryPlusPlus, AI Bandits | Not established | Named in older community collections | Collections may be dated or removed; do not treat as current IDs | Only if a maintained Workshop page confirms compatibility |
What to check before adding any mod
Use the live Workshop page, not a copied list
Workshop IDs are easy to mistype and can change in third-party lists. The available 2026 material confirms CF and BBP on their Workshop pages, but it does not provide a fetched page for Code Lock, Namalsk or any DayZ Expansion module. Open each candidate’s current Steam listing, confirm the numeric ID in the page address or subscription details, read the latest changelog, and check whether the author identifies the current DayZ game version. Do not assume that an ID in an old collection still points to an active, compatible release.

Back up the saved world and configuration
Keep a recoverable copy of the server’s world data, configuration files, types.xml and startup parameters before changing the mod set. Community Framework has a specific wipe requirement: the CF documentation says to wipe the server before installing it. If the saved world was created without CF, plan that wipe rather than treating it as an optional cleanup. A backup gives you a route back if the new dependency or a later update prevents the server from starting.
Plan for maintenance overhead
Every additional mod consumes memory, increases startup work and creates another possible update break. A guide summary argues that a few well-chosen mods are preferable to a large, conflicting collection; that is an opinion rather than a measured benchmark, but the operational implication is sound. Begin with the smallest set that delivers the intended experience, then add one candidate at a time so a failure has an identifiable cause.

Read version notes before updating
BaseBuildingPlus update notes include fixes for DayZ 1.27, and the mod’s Discord is cited for related fixes. That is a reminder that compatibility can change with a game update. Record the current game build, mod version and date whenever you update, and do not apply a major server update without checking each dependency’s changelog.
Community Framework: the normal starting point
Why CF comes first
The Steam Workshop listing describes Community Framework for DayZ Standalone as a community framework by Jacob_Mango. Its stated purpose is resolving conflicting RPC type IDs between mods. Several installation guides additionally say that most other DayZ mods depend on it, and one summary warns that mods may not load without CF. That makes CF infrastructure rather than a content pack: players may not see a new item or building piece, but other mods can fail before they are usable.
Install the dependency deliberately
- Stop the server and make a recoverable backup of the world and configuration.
- Confirm that the live Workshop page identifies Community Framework and the ID shown in the table above.
- Apply the required world wipe if the existing save was created without CF. Preserve the backup separately from the live save.
- Add CF through your host’s documented Workshop-mod field or your own deployment process, then start the server with no additional new content if possible.
- Check the server log and a test connection before layering on construction, map or gameplay mods.
The final two checks are operational safeguards: the supplied documentation establishes CF’s role and wipe requirement, but it does not define a universal log message or a universal self-hosting command. Use the hosting provider’s current instructions for the actual deployment method.
BaseBuildingPlus: the strongest content addition
What BBP is suited for
BaseBuildingPlus is created by Chopper and is intended for servers where players need more construction choices than the base game provides. Its Workshop page records fixes associated with the DayZ 1.27 update. It is therefore a natural second installation after CF when construction is part of the server’s identity, but it is not necessary for a lightly modified or map-focused server.
Use the confirmed ID and resolve the conflicting listing
The Steam Workshop page and MyDayZ installation documentation use Workshop ID 1710977250. One host document lists 1828439124 instead. Because the Steam URL associated with 1710977250 is the BBP page and another installation guide uses the same number, use 1710977250 unless the live Steam listing confirms a change. Do not combine both numbers or copy the conflicting host value blindly.

Manual installation procedure from the documented files
- Stop the DayZ server.
- Download the current BBP release from its confirmed Workshop listing and locate the
@BaseBuildingPlusfolder. - Copy that folder into the server root, alongside the other server mod folders.
- Copy
BBP.bikeyinto the server’skeysfolder so the server can authenticate the mod. - Add
-mod=@BaseBuildingPlusto the server startup parameters. - Merge the supplied BBP entries into the server’s existing
types.xml. The MyDayZ instructions specifically call this out so BBP items do not despawn. - Start the server, connect with a test account and verify that the new construction items persist after a restart.
Do not overwrite a customized types.xml without comparing the files. Preserve the original, keep the merged result under version control or dated backups, and resolve duplicate entries according to the current BBP documentation.

Optional mods that need a live compatibility check
Code Lock
A 2026 guide summary associates Code Lock with ID 1646187754 and describes four-digit combination codes replacing physical padlock keys on doors and gates. That ID was not verified on a fetched Workshop page. If the current listing confirms the same function and supports your DayZ build, it can make access management easier for groups; if not, leave it out rather than risking a server-wide dependency or security mismatch.
Namalsk
Namalsk is described in a guide summary as a frozen community island of roughly 27 km², smaller than Chernarus. The cited ID, 2289456201, remains unverified here. Treat it as a map decision, not a small add-on: changing maps affects the experience, spawn planning and the relevance of other content. Verify the Workshop page, map requirements and current server instructions before changing an established world.
DayZ Expansion modules
DayZ Expansion is described as a suite rather than one file. The named modules are Core, Vehicles, Market, AI, Missions, Base Building and Navigation, but no individual Workshop IDs were established. Do not enter a guessed suite ID. Open each module’s current Workshop listing, document its dependencies and install order, and test the smallest useful subset. A market, vehicle or AI module can alter the server’s economy and difficulty far more than a decorative building pack, so decide which system you actually need.

Older collection entries
BulletStacksPlusPlus, Unlimited Stamina, InventoryPlusPlus and AI Bandits appear in older community collections. Their IDs and current compatibility were not established, and some collections are dated or removed. They should be considered leads for investigation only. A maintained Workshop page, a current changelog and a test server are prerequisites before adding any of them to a live world.
Installing Workshop IDs through common hosting panels
Shockbyte control panel
The documented Shockbyte path is:
- Stop the server.
- Open Config.
- Open DayZ Mod Settings.
- Enter the confirmed Workshop IDs in the Steam Workshop Mod IDs field.
- Separate multiple IDs with commas and do not insert spaces.
- Save, allow the panel to download the files, then start the server and inspect the startup log.
Use only IDs confirmed on the live Workshop pages. The panel syntax does not validate whether a number belongs to the mod you intended.
DoomHosting startup settings
The documented DoomHosting path uses a different syntax:
- Open the server’s Startup tab.
- Find Additional Mods.
- Enter each mod with an
@prefix. - Separate entries with semicolons, including the trailing semicolon shown in the guide’s example:
@1559212036;@2545327648;. - Save the startup command, restart the server and check that each folder was downloaded and mounted.
The example demonstrates formatting only. The second ID in it is not identified by the available documentation, so do not copy it unless the corresponding Workshop page has been verified.
Self-hosting: do not copy an unverified SteamCMD command
A guide summary mentions downloading CF with SteamCMD using DayZ app ID 221100 and Workshop item ID 1559212036, but the source page was not checked. Because the exact command, account permissions and current SteamCMD behavior are not established, use the current SteamCMD and Bohemia Interactive documentation for a self-hosted deployment instead of treating that summary as a verified command.

Vanilla-plus survival
Install CF, complete the required wipe and stop there initially. This keeps the change surface small while you confirm that the server starts, clients connect and the saved world behaves normally. Add a single convenience mod only after you have a documented rollback.
Construction-centered server
Use CF as the dependency, then BBP. Follow the folder, key, startup and types.xml steps exactly, and test persistence after a restart. Code Lock may fit this style if its live page confirms the ID and compatibility; it should be evaluated separately rather than bundled into the first deployment.

One-click scans. No signup required.
Alternative-map server
Verify Namalsk’s current listing before planning a map switch. Decide whether the approximately 27 km² description still matches the current release, and preserve the existing world backup. Do not assume construction or economy mods designed around another map will remain balanced.
Multi-system overhaul
For DayZ Expansion, map every module and dependency first. Add Core and one functional module at a time, recording startup results and player-facing changes. This approach makes it possible to remove a failing module without discarding unrelated content.
Best Value
Testing, updates and rollback
Use a staging sequence
- Record the game version, current mod IDs, configuration backup location and installation date.
- Test CF alone after the wipe requirement has been satisfied.
- Add BBP or another verified content mod, then restart twice to check persistence.
- Invite a small test group to exercise doors, gates, storage and any new systems before opening the server publicly.
- Add unverified candidates only after their live Workshop pages and changelogs establish compatibility.
Update one dependency at a time
Check the Workshop changelog before downloading an update. BBP’s 1.27 notes demonstrate that a game-version change can require fixes. If several mods update together and the server fails, restore the last known-good files and reapply updates individually so you can identify the breaking change.
Keep rollback material separate
Retain the previous mod folders, key files, startup parameters, types.xml and world backup until the new build has survived normal restarts and player testing. A backup that remains inside the live server directory can be overwritten during an automated update, so store it outside the deployment path.

Troubleshooting common failures
The server starts but a mod does not load
- Confirm the Workshop ID on the live page and remove duplicate or conflicting entries.
- Check that the mod folder name matches the startup parameter, including the leading
@where the host requires it. - Verify that the panel downloaded the mod rather than merely saving the numeric ID.
- Install CF first when another mod lists it as a dependency, then restart.
The world behaves incorrectly after adding CF
- Stop the server and confirm that the required wipe was performed for a world that did not previously use CF.
- Restore the recoverable pre-change backup if the save cannot be loaded.
- Reapply the dependency on a clean test world before touching the production save again.
BBP items despawn or do not appear
- Confirm that
BBP.bikeyis in the server’skeysfolder. - Check for
-mod=@BaseBuildingPlusin the startup parameters. - Compare the merged
types.xmlwith the current BBP-provided file; the documented installation specifically requires merging it to prevent despawning. - Check the BBP changelog for the current DayZ version, especially around 1.27-related fixes.
An update breaks startup
- Read the updated mod’s changelog and the game-version notes.
- Remove only the most recently updated mod or restore its previous files from backup.
- Test the reverted set, then add updates one by one.
- Do not add another unverified mod until the baseline is stable.
A listed ID points to the wrong content
This is the specific risk highlighted by the BBP conflict. Stop deployment, compare the number against the live Steam listing and the author’s documentation, and use the confirmed value. Never “try both” IDs on a production server because they may represent different projects or obsolete uploads.
Bottom line for 2026
For most modded DayZ servers, install Community Framework first, perform the required wipe with a recoverable backup, and verify that the clean server works. Add BaseBuildingPlus with Workshop ID 1710977250 when expanded construction is central to your design, following its key, startup and types.xml requirements. Treat Code Lock, Namalsk, DayZ Expansion and older collection entries as unverified until their live Workshop pages confirm the ID, maintenance status and compatibility. A short, documented mod list is easier to update and recover than a large collection assembled from copied numbers.
