For a continuous YouTube stream built from prerecorded podcast episodes, use a cloud service that can play uploaded video files or a playlist without keeping your computer on. StreamNeo is the first option to consider for a straightforward YouTube loop: it runs uploaded videos from the cloud, supports playlists, and automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. OneStream Live, Upstream, and Gyre offer other workflows, with important differences in scheduling, playlist controls, destinations, and plan limits.
These services broadcast prerecorded material as a live stream; they do not turn an old episode into a real-time event. Label the stream accurately, keep your original files, and confirm that you have rights to all episode video, music, guest material, and other included content.

Which cloud service fits a 24/7 podcast stream?
The best fit depends on how you want the feed to run. A continuous loop, a schedule of finite broadcasts, live playlist editing, and multistreaming are different requirements. The capabilities below are documented by the vendors, not independently tested; verify current terms and plan access before subscribing.

What to check before choosing a service
Continuous loop or scheduled broadcasts
Confirm whether the service can keep a playlist cycling continuously or instead schedules finite broadcasts that need to be restarted or scheduled again. OneStream Live’s documented 24/7 run has a 30-day cap; ask how it handles the next run if you want uninterrupted programming.
Playlist changes while live
If episodes change often, check whether you can update the queue during playback. Upstream documents playlist changes without interrupting the stream. Gyre and StreamNeo describe playlist looping, but confirm the exact editing behavior you need before committing.

Destinations and capacity
OneStream’s documented 24/7 feature is YouTube-only. Upstream states that one stream slot can multistream to up to 10 destinations. For any provider, check concurrent stream limits, supported resolution, storage, and whether the channel-connection method works for your account.
Recovery, monitoring, and plan access
Look for clear descriptions of what happens if YouTube disconnects, how the provider reports an interruption, and whether recovery is automatic. Treat recovery as a vendor-described feature rather than a guarantee of uninterrupted uptime. Confirm which subscription tier unlocks the specific continuous-streaming workflow.

Prepare podcast episodes for continuous playback
- Use video files, not audio alone. These workflows play uploaded video or pair audio with a visual background. Prepare a video version of each episode if you want episode-specific visuals, or use an image/background where the service supports it.
- Check rights and presentation. Confirm you can use every included song, clip, image, guest recording, and other material in a public YouTube stream. Describe prerecorded episodes as prerecorded; do not imply that a replay is happening live.
- Make an episode queue. Choose the order, identify any episodes that should not repeat, and check how the service handles the end of the playlist. If you need edits during the broadcast, verify that the chosen platform allows them without restarting.
- Connect the YouTube channel and configure the stream. Follow the provider’s current instructions for connecting YouTube or supplying an RTMP stream key. YouTube’s official encoder live-stream guidance is the platform reference for encoder-based streaming; the cloud provider may use a different connection flow.
- Test before leaving it unattended. Start a short private or unlisted test if available, confirm picture and audio, inspect the stream from another device, and verify what the provider reports when playback or the YouTube connection is interrupted.
- Keep clean originals and a separate archive plan. YouTube says streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all, and recommends recording a local archive as a backup. A cloud-generated continuous feed should not be treated as the only copy of your episodes. See YouTube’s archive guidance.
Costs and operating trade-offs
Compare the total plan cost against the specific workflow you need: continuous runtime, number of concurrent streams, storage, resolution, and playlist controls. Feature access can be gated by plan—as with OneStream Live’s Enterprise-only 24/7 feature—and prices or limits can change. Ask providers to confirm current regional checkout pricing and capacity before purchase; comparable current prices for all four services are not established here.
A cloud service avoids leaving a home computer or server running for playback, but it does not remove the need to prepare episode files, manage rights, check the channel setup, and preserve originals. YouTube’s archive caveat is particularly relevant to a continuous feed, so keep your own copy even if the stream remains online.
