StreamNeo is the first option to consider for a straightforward always-on YouTube stream: it runs uploaded videos from the cloud, supports up to 4K 60fps at one price per slot, and offers a free first day. Gyre is another direct fit named in YouTube’s encoder guidance; Castr suits some scheduled or multi-destination workflows. AWS is a more configurable building-block approach for teams prepared to operate a custom video pipeline.
Which service fits a continuous bhajan stream?
This comparison is for a channel that already has recorded bhajans and permission to stream them. It is not a guide to broadcasting a live camera or musicians in real time. The services differ in how much setup and ongoing operation they leave to the channel owner; the available product descriptions do not establish a measured reliability winner.

| Option | Best fit | What the available information establishes | Main trade-off |
|---|---|---|---|
| StreamNeo | A simple, always-on YouTube stream from uploaded recordings | Cloud looping and playlists; automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream; uploaded video is streamed as made, up to 4K 60fps, with no re-encode or quality tiers. | YouTube only; intended for uploaded videos, not a camera feed. |
| Gyre | Cloud playlists of prerecorded video, including a devotional or church-community channel | YouTube’s encoder guidance lists Gyre as a cloud tool for 24/7 prerecorded streaming. Gyre describes upload, playlist, scheduling, and looping. | Published plan limits vary; verify stream count, storage, and output needs against the current tier. |
| Castr | Scheduled prerecorded playout where multi-destination delivery may matter | Castr describes uploading, playlist creation, scheduling or looping, and sending to YouTube or other destinations. | Looping, storage, playlist, concurrent-stream, and file-duration limits depend on the plan. |
| AWS MediaLive, MediaPackage, and CloudFront | A custom live-video pipeline with more control and technical resources | AWS documents encoding, packaging, and global delivery components, including a reference design with two input feeds for redundancy. | Configuration, monitoring, and workload-specific cost estimation are the operator’s responsibility. |
1. StreamNeo: managed cloud looping for YouTube
StreamNeo is a cloud service from Yorker Media for keeping a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos. Upload a recording or build a playlist, add the YouTube stream key once, and start the stream; StreamNeo continues the loop in the cloud, so a computer and home connection do not need to stay on. It can automatically recover if YouTube drops the stream.

2. Gyre: a close alternative for prerecorded loops
YouTube’s official encoder guidance lists Gyre as a cloud-based tool for 24/7 live streaming of prerecorded videos. Gyre describes uploading files, creating a playlist, scheduling a continuous stream, and letting it loop from its cloud service. Its homepage also names reaching a church community as a use case, which is relevant to devotional programming.
Rank #2
Gyre’s vendor page, as accessed on October 3, 2026, lists a seven-day free trial and monthly plans at $49 for Start, $99 for Start+, and $169 for PRO+. Those are a dated vendor-published snapshot, not a guaranteed quote; included stream counts, storage, and output capabilities differ by tier. Confirm the current plan details and price directly with Gyre before choosing.
3. Castr: consider it for scheduling or broader distribution
Castr describes a dashboard workflow for uploading a video, assembling a playlist, scheduling or looping it, and sending it to YouTube or other destinations. Its cloud operation means the creator’s computer can remain off after scheduling. The reviewed product information says infinite looping is available on Premium and higher, while storage, playlist size, concurrent streams, and file duration have plan-dependent limits. Check the current plan against the full bhajan playlist and the destinations you intend to use.

4. AWS: custom infrastructure for a staffed operation
AWS documents a live-video architecture that uses MediaLive for encoding, MediaPackage for packaging, and CloudFront for global delivery. Its reference solution supports two input feeds for redundancy and multiple delivery formats. AWS also describes CloudFront distributing an encoded and packaged live channel, including a 24×7 channel.
This is a set of infrastructure components, not a one-step looping service. It gives a technically capable team more control, but the operator must configure and monitor the pipeline and estimate charges for the actual workload. The available information does not support saying AWS will be cheaper than a managed service; obtain a workload-specific estimate before committing.
How to choose for your channel
- Recorded library or live feed: Gyre, Castr, and StreamNeo explicitly address prerecorded playout. The cited AWS architecture is for building a live video pipeline. If you need to stream a live camera or musicians, do not assume a prerecorded-loop workflow meets that need.
- Hands-off operation: StreamNeo, Gyre, and Castr describe cloud-based operation. Compare playlist and scheduling controls, then verify that the selected plan supports your intended continuous loop.
- Destinations: StreamNeo is for YouTube. Castr describes multi-destination broadcasting; AWS describes global delivery through CloudFront. Choose based on whether YouTube alone is sufficient or you also need other platforms or a website player.
- Resilience and control: AWS documents input redundancy in its reference architecture, while StreamNeo describes automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. The reviewed vendor descriptions do not establish independently measured uptime, so neither feature description is a basis for declaring a service the reliability winner.
- Capacity and price: Check storage, stream count, resolution or output capability, file-duration limits, and playlist limits against your actual content. Gyre publishes subscription tiers; AWS cost depends on the assembled workload. These are not like-for-like totals.
Prepare the bhajan stream before going live
Confirm rights for every part of the recording
YouTube says all live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content. YouTube Help states: “All live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted content in the form of another live broadcast.” If a match is detected, YouTube may replace the stream with a placeholder and warn the creator; if the content remains, it may interrupt or terminate the broadcast.
Recommended Free Tools
A bhajan recording can involve separate rights in the composition, arrangement, performance, recording, and artwork. Confirm that your permission covers the material actually used in the stream. YouTube also says that a rights owner may need to add a licensed channel to its Content ID allowlist; a licence alone may not prevent an automated interruption.

Check channel eligibility and the complete playlist
Confirm that the channel is eligible to live stream and that each recording and visual in the playlist is cleared for the channel’s use. Test the playlist and scheduling setup before relying on it for an uninterrupted devotional broadcast. A cloud service can keep playing uploaded material, but it cannot grant rights or prevent YouTube from applying its copyright systems.
Or let it run in the cloud
With StreamNeo, upload your bhajan recording or playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; your uploaded quality streams up to 4K 60fps at one price per slot; and automatic recovery can resume the stream if YouTube drops it. The first day is free with no card, and the Monthly plan is $9.99 per month. It is for YouTube streams from uploaded videos, not live camera broadcasts.
