That identity check matters: GoFullPage’s site reported that the official extension had been restored to the Chrome Web Store and referred to a temporary beta listing in a September 1, 2026 update. “Full page” often means the document’s overall scrollable height. It does not by itself establish that an extension can capture a separately scrolling panel inside an app. Match the tool to the page structure and your output needs:
- Capture scope: Decide whether you need the whole document, a selected region, or content inside an inner scrollable panel. Check whether the target content is in an iframe or frame.
- Output: Confirm that the tool exports the formats you need, and check whether a long capture can be split into PDF pages if that matters.
- Editing and sensitive data: Look for cropping, annotation, or redaction if you must prepare an image before sharing. Do not assume that a claimed redaction feature or a browser-based workflow guarantees privacy.
- Permissions and data handling: Review the extension’s current permission requests and privacy disclosures, especially before using it on an authenticated or sensitive app.
- Cost: Check the current vendor listing for which features are free and which require payment. Current prices were not established for the extensions discussed here.
Test scrolling behavior before relying on a capture
Available product information does not establish reliable capture of every lazy-loaded feed, nested panel, or virtualized list. These patterns can affect a screenshot generally: content may load only as the user scrolls, or a panel may scroll independently from the page. That is a reason to test the specific app, not evidence of a confirmed defect in any one extension.

- If the app uses an inner panel or iframe, check whether the extension captures that area as intended before using it for documentation or evidence.
- For sensitive or authenticated pages, review the extension’s current permissions and privacy terms before capturing.
Understand the permissions before installing
GoFullPage’s FAQ says the extension may request Downloads permission for download functionality and iframe permission to scroll inner iframe or frame content. The vendor says those permissions can be revoked or restored in extension options. This is the vendor’s description, not an independent security review. Check the permissions shown in the current store listing and the extension’s privacy disclosure before installation; permission names and behavior can change.
