What Boyesen motorcycle accessories are available?
Boyesen’s MX/Offroad/Mini catalog lists aftermarket parts including performance reeds, intake components, engine and replacement parts, carburetion products and controls. Its application overview names KTM, Husqvarna, Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki. This is a dirt-bike-focused catalog, not evidence of a universal range for street motorcycles.

The clearest product choices for a rider considering intake-related upgrades are performance reeds, replacement reed petals and a complete intake assembly such as a Rad Valve. Boyesen’s homepage also lists Supercooler Kits and Factory Racing Clutch Covers; the catalog listing alone does not establish that every item fits every bike.

Which Boyesen product should you consider?
Performance reeds
Boyesen describes its Power Reeds as a dual-stage reed design and markets them for compatible two-stroke motocross and off-road machines. The manufacturer claims performance benefits, but the official material cited here does not give an independently verified power increase or a model-specific comparison. Check the individual application listing rather than assuming a reed product will fit your motorcycle.

The performance-reeds page says applications range from the mid-1970s through current models and names KTM, Husqvarna, Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki. That broad span does not mean every model or year from those brands is covered.
Replacement reed petals
Replacement reeds are a different purchase from a performance reed upgrade. They are intended to replace reed components, while a performance product is selected as an aftermarket design. Identify the existing assembly and match the replacement to your exact application; do not treat “replacement reeds” and “performance reeds” as interchangeable fitment guarantees.

Rad Valve intake systems
A Rad Valve is a complete intake-system option, rather than simply a reed-petal replacement. Boyesen says its fitment depends on make, model and year. Use the product application listing to check whether a system is offered for your bike before comparing it with a reed-only part.

Supercooler Kits and Factory Racing Clutch Covers appear on Boyesen’s official homepage, alongside reed products. Their presence in the catalog does not establish suitability for a particular motorcycle; confirm the exact part number and fitment for your machine.

How to check fitment before buying
- Record the motorcycle details. Note the year, make, model and engine. For reed and intake products, establish whether the machine is a two-stroke.
- Choose the product type. Decide whether you need a performance reed, replacement reed petals or a complete intake system such as a Rad Valve.
- Use Boyesen’s application selector. Search for the exact motorcycle details on the manufacturer’s relevant product page, including its performance-reeds listing.
- Match the listed application to the part. Confirm that the specific model and year are included before ordering. A make appearing in a product overview is not proof that all of its motorcycles are compatible.
Can reeds explain a hard-starting bike?
Boyesen’s site asks, “Is your bike hard to start?” and “Have you checked your reeds lately?” These are manufacturer prompts, not a diagnosis. They do not establish that worn reeds are the cause of a particular starting or idle problem. Check the bike and its service requirements rather than treating a product page prompt as proof that a reed purchase will solve the symptom.
