Choose Lunara if you prefer ranged attacks and a more sustain-oriented fight; choose Helion if you enjoy close-range combos and burst damage. Current third-party guides describe both as Light starters with the same listed starting stats, so the available evidence does not establish a universal winner. The practical choice is the combat rhythm you want.
What’s the difference between Lunara and Helion?
| Choice | Positioning and reported combat style | Best fit if you prefer |
|---|---|---|
| Lunara | Ranged combat; a guide describes skills building marks that basic attacks consume for added damage and some recovery. Aniimo Eggs’ comparison guide checked October 4, 2026, reports this mechanic. | Attacking from a distance and sustaining longer fights. |
| Helion | Close-range melee; the same guide describes a basic-attack cycle that empowers a following skill. | Committing to targets, chaining attacks, and pursuing burst damage. |
The range-and-rhythm distinction is also described by a second third-party guide, Aniimo Eggs’ comparison guide checked September 27, 2026. These are guide-reported descriptions, not official comparative test results; check the current in-game skill descriptions for exact live wording.

Which starter should you pick?
Pick Lunara if you want distance and sustain
Lunara is the more natural fit if you would rather attack from range than stay close to an opponent. The guide-reported marks and recovery mechanics suggest a loop built around using skills and then following with basic attacks. That may appeal if you prefer a measured approach, but it is not evidence that Lunara is objectively easier or stronger.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsPick Helion if you want close-range combos
Helion suits players who like closing the gap and building a sequence around basic attacks followed by an empowered skill. The cited guide characterizes this as an aggressive, close-range burst style. That describes the reported play pattern, not a proven damage advantage.

Do starting stats make one a better choice?
A third-party guide reports that Lunara and Helion have identical listed base stats and are both Light creatures. The retrieved official Aniimo index lists entries for both creatures, but does not document their starter mechanics or verify those stat details. Treat the stats as guide-reported rather than as an independently confirmed official comparison, and check the current in-game panels before relying on a stat difference.
Can you get the other starter later?
One current guide says the other starter can be obtained later, but the official sources available here do not confirm how or when. Don’t assume the opening choice is reversible or that the other creature will be available quickly; confirm acquisition details in current in-game information or an official source.

How to make the choice
- Choose the combat position you prefer: distance points to Lunara; close-range engagement points to Helion.
- Decide which reported rhythm sounds more enjoyable: Lunara’s mark-oriented attacks and recovery, or Helion’s basic-attack-to-skill combo.
- If stats or later access would change your decision, inspect the live in-game panels and current official acquisition information rather than assuming the guide descriptions settle those questions.
