For the Global version of AION 2, start with the official FHD preset: Very Low on a PC that meets the minimum requirements, or Low on a PC that meets the recommended requirements. If your computer is close to minimum spec, a third-party low-spec profile offers finer adjustments, including keeping textures at Normal while lowering demanding scene effects. These are starting points, not guaranteed FPS settings: no cited source provides controlled performance comparisons across different PCs.
Start with the Global FHD preset
NCSoft’s Global support listing, dated July 21, 2026, recommends these FHD graphics presets for compatibility:

The Korean official listing differs: it says Very Low for its minimum tier and Normal for its recommended tier. The settings below use the Global guidance because this article addresses the Global build; do not assume the Korean preset recommendation applies to it. These are the published requirements from NCSoft AION 2 Global Support (2026), not a performance benchmark. The CPU alternatives are listed as either AMD or Intel models.

NCSoft also recommends an SSD, but its requirements listing does not say that an SSD by itself raises frame rates. The listed 100 GB is available-storage space, not a claim about download size or a required SSD capacity. Check the Global requirements listing for current details.
Try this third-party low-spec profile
Playnews describes the following as guidance for PCs near minimum requirements. It is not an NCSoft preset or a controlled test. Apply it as a starting configuration if the official Very Low preset is not enough for your needs.

The same guide’s secondary options are particle effect display for everyone, volumetric fog on, ambient occlusion NCAO, water reflection method Performance, tier icon on, and identical player appearance off. Tune one change at a time
- Set the Global FHD preset that matches your hardware tier, then load a scene you find demanding, such as a crowded area or mass battle.
- Observe how the game feels in that scene before changing more settings. If performance is still unsatisfactory, adjust one item from the low-spec profile at a time.
- Repeat the same scene after each change. Keep the change only if it helps without making image quality or visibility unacceptably poor.
- If you use VSync, judge its effect on display synchronization or tearing. It is not a remedy for internet latency; the third-party guide’s wording does not establish that it fixes network lag.
Your actual FPS depends on your particular hardware and the scene. The official requirements pages publish no FPS figures, and the third-party profile does not report controlled results by CPU, GPU, or settings combination. No specific frame-rate target can be promised from these recommendations.

How to interpret the regional difference
NCSoft’s Korea listing uses different CPU suffixes and graphics-card options from the Global listing, and it gives Normal—not Low—as the recommended FHD preset. The Korea listing specifies Ryzen 5 2600X or Core i5-10500F and GTX 1050 Ti or Radeon RX 470 at minimum; its recommended tier lists Ryzen 7 3700X or Core i7-11700 and RTX 2070 or Radeon RX 5700 XT. It lists 8 GB and 16 GB memory respectively, DirectX 12, and 100 GB storage with an SSD recommended. For the Global build, follow the Global support page rather than combining parts of the two lists.
