The Bang & Olufsen Beoplay Eleven pairs a premium sound-and-design proposition with multipoint, IP57-rated earbuds, active noise cancellation and transparency mode. But the hands-on review evidence is less glowing about noise cancellation, fit flexibility and battery life than it is about sound and design. Whether it is worth the price depends on how much you value that listening experience—and whether it fits your ears.
What are you paying for?
Beoplay Eleven is a high-end true wireless earbud with active noise cancellation (ANC), transparency mode and a Qi-capable charging case. Bang & Olufsen’s US product page displayed $599 when accessed in 2026; that is a dated listing, not a guaranteed current checkout price or a price for every market. The manufacturer lists Natural Aluminium, Copper Tone and Eucalyptus Green. Bang & Olufsen’s US product page uses the marketing line “Vivid sound or pure silence. In-ear noise cancelling excellence.” Independent listening impressions below are more mixed on the noise-cancelling claim.

Prices in other markets should be treated separately. HIFI.DE listed the earbuds at €499 on its review page, while Stiftung Warentest reported a mean online price of €517 as of December 15, 2025. Those figures reflect different sources, dates and market contexts; neither establishes today’s price in another region.

HIFI.DE’s reviewer described the sound as full and warm, highlighting clear, powerful guitars and a broad, authentic soundstage. The outlet regarded sound and design as the earbuds’ strongest qualities. These are subjective listening judgments from that reviewer, not measurements or a guarantee that every listener will prefer the tuning.
#1 Best Overall
- Stylish Design: Crafted with a combination of aluminum, exclusive hardened glass, polymer, and silicone, our earbuds stand out from the crowd
- Next Level Noise Cancellation: Beoplay Eleven wireless earbuds boast our best noise cancellation technology in an earbud to date
- Full-Spectrum Sound: With a 9.2mm driver in each earbud and a frequency range of 20 - 22,000 Hz, Beoplay Eleven deliver intricate and powerful sound in a lightweight package
- Clear Calling Experience: Enhanced calling quality with an increased microphone inlet and wind filtering technology for clearer voice transmission
- Long Battery Life: Offering up to 6 hours of playtime with ANC, and up to 20 hours with ANC when including the charging case
For a buyer who puts musical presentation and premium design ahead of class-leading isolation, this is the most persuasive case for the Eleven. The evidence here does not establish that its sound is objectively better than competing earbuds.
How good are the noise cancelling and transparency modes?
HIFI.DE found ANC merely adequate and did not perceive a major improvement over the Beoplay EX. The same reviewer preferred the Eleven’s transparency mode, describing it as natural. That makes the two listening modes an important distinction: the review is more positive about hearing your surroundings than it is about blocking them out.
Bang & Olufsen’s November 2024 product sheet lists adaptive, customizable ambient presets and six built-in microphones. Those specifications describe features, not independent proof of noise-cancelling performance. HIFI.DE’s review is the available hands-on assessment here.

Will they fit, and are the controls easy to use?
Fit is personal, and HIFI.DE specifically cautioned that the way the earbud sits can cause difficulty or pressure for people with smaller ears, especially over time. The outlet recommends trying the earbuds before buying if possible. The box includes one Comply medium tip set and four sizes of silicone tips, but multiple tip options cannot guarantee a comfortable fit for every ear.
HIFI.DE reported that the touch controls worked after a brief adjustment, though they cannot be freely reassigned. It also found the companion app somewhat minimal. In that reviewer’s test, multipoint—connecting to two devices at once—worked without issue.
How long does the battery last?
Bang & Olufsen’s support page, accessed in 2026, claims up to six hours per charge with ANC on and up to eight hours with ANC off. Including the case, the stated totals are up to 20 hours with ANC on or 28 hours with it off. The manufacturer qualifies these figures for moderate listening volume and says actual runtime varies with volume, music intensity and EQ. Treat them as conditional maximums, not a promise of everyday playback time. See Bang & Olufsen’s Beoplay Eleven battery guidance.

- Long Battery Life: Offering up to 6 hours of playtime with ANC, and up to 20 hours with ANC when including the charging case
HIFI.DE’s review summary also gives six hours with ANC and 14 additional hours from the case, and says a 20-minute charge provides up to one hour and 45 minutes of playback. These are the review page’s stated figures; the available information does not establish a separate standardized battery test or conditions for the quick-charge result.
Beoplay Eleven vs. Beoplay EX
The Beoplay EX is the most relevant comparison in the available hands-on review. HIFI.DE’s account of launch-era pricing and performance favors the EX on value and battery life, while describing its sound as almost as good. Its euro-price comparison is historical and specific to that outlet, not a current price quote.
| Decision point | Beoplay Eleven | Beoplay EX |
|---|---|---|
| Price context | HIFI.DE listed €499 on its review page, accessed in 2026; Bang & Olufsen’s US page displayed $599 when accessed in 2026. | HIFI.DE said the EX was about €200 cheaper than the Eleven at the Eleven’s launch; this is a historical outlet comparison, not a current price. |
| Sound | HIFI.DE praised its full, warm presentation, clear guitars and broad soundstage. | HIFI.DE judged it to sound almost as good as the Eleven. |
| ANC and transparency | HIFI.DE found ANC adequate and preferred the natural-sounding transparency mode. | HIFI.DE did not perceive a major ANC step up in the Eleven over the EX; the review does not provide a separate detailed EX transparency assessment. |
| Battery | Manufacturer claim: up to six hours with ANC and 20 hours including the case under stated moderate-volume conditions. | HIFI.DE said the EX offered slightly longer stated total battery life; the inspected review does not provide a comparable exact EX figure. |
| Fit and controls | HIFI.DE warned of possible pressure or fit difficulty for smaller ears; controls cannot be freely reassigned. | Not stated in the inspected HIFI.DE comparison. |
If you already own the EX, HIFI.DE’s findings do not suggest a compelling upgrade for sound or ANC alone. The Eleven may still appeal if its design, its particular sound presentation or its transparency mode better match your priorities, but the evidence does not show a clear across-the-board performance leap.

What features and accessories come in the box?
Bang & Olufsen’s product sheet, dated November 11, 2024, lists Bluetooth 5.2, a 10 m range, memory for six paired devices and multipoint for two simultaneously connected devices. It also specifies IP57-rated earbuds, touch controls and a Qi-capable charging case. The official sheet is available as a Beoplay Eleven product sheet.
The listed box contents are a charging case, left and right earbuds, a 0.5 m USB-C-to-USB-C cable, one Comply medium tip set, four silicone tip sizes and a quick-start guide. The sheet lists replacement ear gels, individual earbuds, a charging case and a 1.25 m USB-C cable as accessories. IP57 applies to the earbuds as specified in the product sheet; do not assume the case has the same rating.

- Consider it if you prioritize premium design, the warm sound character HIFI.DE describes, multipoint and a natural transparency mode, and you can confirm a comfortable fit.
- Be cautious if strong ANC is your main reason to buy, you have smaller ears or are sensitive to in-ear pressure, or you expect a large battery or performance gain over the Beoplay EX.
- Check before ordering for the current price in your country and the return or trial terms. The cited prices are observations from particular pages and dates, not a universal price.
Which? lists the Eleven as released in December 2024 and first reviewed in May 2025, but its detailed expert review requires access. Stiftung Warentest’s product page likewise gates full test-score details. Those listings confirm review coverage, not additional public findings about performance, so they cannot support a broader ranking against other ANC earbuds.
