The be quiet! Light Loop IO LCD 360 is a feature-led 360mm AIO, not a clear cooling-performance leader: its round screen, extensive lighting, consolidated cabling and refill port are the main reasons to choose it. Independent reviews found competent, roughly average-to-good cooling in their own test setups, but neither establishes a universal advantage over other coolers. Whether it makes sense depends on your case fit, appetite for LCD and ARGB features, tolerance for IO Center software, and the price available where you live.
What makes the Light Loop IO LCD 360 different?
This is the LCD-equipped version of be quiet!’s Light Loop, with a 360mm radiator and three fans. The range also includes 240mm and 360mm sizes in black and white; the black 360mm model is BW032. It should not be confused with the screen-free Light Loop 360. be quiet!’s product page lists the variants and specifications.

The pump block has a 2.1-inch round IPS screen. In its October 2026 review, Hardware Busters reports a 480 × 480 resolution and 500-nit brightness. The screen can display sensor data, still images, GIFs and videos. That makes it a visual feature rather than a cooling upgrade: buy it for the look and information you want on the pump, not because a display changes thermal performance.
Lighting is spread across the fans and pump block. The IO Controller brings power and control connections together, while the fan cables are routed along the tubes; be quiet! describes a single cable from the cooler to the controller carrying ARGB, PWM and display signals. The controller still needs an internal USB header and SATA power, according to Hardware Busters, so “one cable” does not mean that the whole installation needs no motherboard or power connections.

How well does it cool, and how loud is it?
Reviews suggest capable but not class-leading cooling, and their results should not be collapsed into a single ranking: the outlets used different CPUs, test procedures and comparison sets.
Club386: results at specified fan speeds
In its August 11, 2026 review, Club386 tested the cooler at several fan speeds. At 600 rpm, the reviewer’s meter did not detect noise and the cooler was described as inaudible; on a Ryzen 7 5800X3D rated at 105W, the reported average delta T was 41.3°C. With a Ryzen 9 9950X3D running at its full 170W TDP, Club386 recorded a 65.0°C peak delta T and a 91°C peak CPU temperature in that setup. At 1,200 rpm on that processor, the review reported a 50.2°C average delta T and a 76.8°C actual core temperature. Noise measured 30.6 dBA at 1,200 rpm and 45.2 dBA at 2,100 rpm. Club386 found some tested alternatives cooler under its comparison settings, including the MSI CoreLiquid P22 360; its comparison also included the larger 420mm Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro ARGB. Those results apply to the review’s particular hardware and settings and do not establish that either product will outperform this cooler in every system.

Hardware Busters: normalized-noise comparison
Hardware Busters tested on an AM5 bench with a Ryzen 9 7900X, normalizing noise levels and comparing 19 other AIOs. Its charts put the Light Loop IO LCD 360 around the average. Reviewer crmaris’s assessment in the October 2–3, 2026 review was: “be quiet!’s Light Loop IO LCD 360mm puts a round IPS display on the pump block and runs the fans, the pump, the lighting, and the screen over a single cable. On my Ryzen 9 7900X, it cools about as well as the average AIO in my charts, it costs $254.90, and its IO Center software is far more complicated than it should be.” See Hardware Busters’ review.

Together, these tests support a practical conclusion: the cooler can handle substantial CPU loads, but there is no evidence here of a consistent cooling lead over alternatives. Consider cooling results alongside noise, radiator fit, display features, software and the local price.
Will it fit your case and CPU?
For the black 360mm model, be quiet! lists the radiator-and-fan assembly at 397 × 120 × 52 mm and the block at 63.8 × 61.9 × 54 mm; listed weight is 1.6 kg. Supported sockets are Intel LGA 1851, 1700, 1200, 1151, 1150 and 1155, plus AMD AM5 and AM4. Confirm that your exact motherboard socket and case layout are supported before ordering.

A nominal “360mm radiator” label is not enough to confirm compatibility. Check the case maker’s clearance for the intended mounting position against the full 397mm assembly length and 52mm combined radiator-and-fan thickness, as well as nearby RAM, motherboard heatsinks and graphics-card clearance. Hardware Busters lists the tubes at 400mm; that length can limit routing in some layouts, particularly if the radiator is mounted far from the CPU block. Check both the case’s radiator guidance and the path the tubes would need to take.

Windows IO Center is the desktop control software. It customizes screen backgrounds and sensor data, pump-head and fan lighting, and fan profiles. Hardware Busters also describes control of fan speed and pump speed. The manufacturer says saved screen backgrounds and lighting effects can remain on the cooler without IO Center running continuously. The app was version 1.3.3 in Hardware Busters’ review; software features can change, so that version detail describes the review, not necessarily the current download.

Hardware Busters says the browser version lacks several desktop features, including Hardware Monitor, Cooling Studio, display overlays and temperature-based lighting. Its reviewer criticized the desktop software as more complicated than necessary. Club386, which tested an early preview, found it generally easy to use but noted quirks. These are different reviewer impressions at different software stages, not a settled promise of a friction-free setup. If deep customization matters, check which controls are available in the current Windows app and whether you are comfortable relying on it.
Can you refill or repair the cooler?
The unit has a refill port, and coolant is included. be quiet! presents these as longevity features, allowing coolant replenishment rather than treating the loop as permanently sealed. Refill access is useful, but it does not establish a particular service interval or guarantee that every component is user-replaceable.
Hardware Busters reports proprietary fan and pump connectors. Before buying replacement parts, confirm compatibility with the exact model; no specific replacement-part number is established here. The 400mm tubes also matter when planning a build or future reinstallation.
Is the Light Loop IO LCD 360 worth its price?
Review-time prices were in the £180 / $250–255 range, but these are historical review figures, not verified current offers. Club386 listed £179.99 / $249.90 in August 2026 and judged the UK price reasonable against some LCD-equipped rivals, while finding that the cooler did not quite justify its premium against the broader competition. Hardware Busters listed the white model at $254.90 in October 2026 and said the black model was $5 less. Check current local pricing and availability rather than treating either review price as a live quote.
Choose it if the round display, extensive ARGB, neater cooler-side cabling and refill port matter enough to you to pay a premium for a competent 360mm AIO. If your priority is the strongest cooling for the money, the review evidence does not establish that its added features deliver a corresponding thermal advantage. For a fair comparison, weigh performance at similar CPU power and noise, case fit, software and serviceability as well as price; do not compare test charts without accounting for different processors, radiator sizes and settings.
