Hisense publishes higher brightness and contrast figures, while AWOL lists a shorter feature set for gaming and several screen bundle options. Those manufacturer specifications do not establish which looks better in a room: the brightness units differ, and there are no same-condition independent measurements here. Availability also differs: AWOL says the LTV-3000 Pro remains orderable, while Hisense’s US product page showed the PX3-PRO sold out when checked.
What are the main differences?
Both models use a triple-laser light engine, support 4K UHD, and are specified for images from 80 to 150 inches. The table summarizes the manufacturers’ published specifications; it is not a set of independent test results.

How should you interpret brightness, contrast and color claims?
Hisense lists up to 3,000 ANSI lumens; AWOL lists 2,000 ISO lumens. Because the manufacturers use different brightness units, these figures are not a direct apples-to-apples comparison. The published numbers alone cannot establish which projector will produce the brighter or more satisfying image in a particular setup.

- Easy Setup and Image Adjustment: Adapt to any installation space with a powerful 1.7x optical zoom, horizontal/vertical keystone, and curved screen projection; allowing for precise image alignment even in challenging architectural layouts
Hisense also lists a higher contrast figure—3,000:1 native versus AWOL’s 2,500:1—and a slightly higher gamut figure, 110% versus 107% BT.2020. These remain vendor specifications, not matched independent measurements. Screen choice, room lighting, installation and image settings also affect what viewers see; a controlled head-to-head test would be needed to call a real-world picture-quality winner.
Which model fits your room and screen?
Both are UST projectors intended to sit close to the projection surface and produce a large image. Their listed throw ratios are 0.25:1 for the AWOL and 0.22:1 for the Hisense. A UST installation is sensitive to placement and screen geometry, so check the relevant model’s setup guidance and screen compatibility before fixing furniture or mounting a screen.

Both manufacturers offer or list ALR screen pairings. If you do not already own a suitable screen, include one in the system budget. The appropriate screen type and size depend on ambient light, room geometry, desired image size and installation; an ALR screen is not automatically the right choice for every room.

What matters for gaming and built-in audio?
AWOL lists Turbo Mode with an 8 ms latency claim and active 3D. Hisense promotes the PX3-PRO as “Designed for Xbox” and lists HSR 240 high refresh rate and a low-latency mode. The product pages do not provide directly comparable latency measurements or enough detail to equate the HSR figure with a particular input resolution and refresh-rate combination. If competitive gaming is important, verify supported modes and latency for the console or PC you plan to use.

For sound, AWOL lists 36 W stereo output and Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X support. Hisense lists a 50 W Harman Kardon system with Dolby Atmos. Wattage and format support do not by themselves predict perceived sound quality or replace an audition in your room.
How do smart features and connections compare?
AWOL specifies Android 9.0, 3 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Hisense lists Google TV and streaming apps including Netflix and YouTube. The available product information does not establish a comparative software-update policy or long-term support lifespan, so do not treat the listed operating system as a guarantee of future app or security support.

Hisense lists Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, HDMI eARC/CEC, Ethernet, AirPlay, Chromecast and DLNA. AWOL’s product specifications list HDMI eARC, USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Check the full port and format details against your sources, receiver and streaming devices before buying.
Which one is available, and what should you verify before buying?
AWOL’s support guidance dated September 1, 2026 says the LTV-3000 Pro remains orderable on its site and that the LTV-2500 and LTV-3500 Pro have been withdrawn. Hisense’s US PX3-PRO page listed the model but showed it sold out when checked. These are page snapshots, not a guarantee of current stock; verify availability and price directly with the seller.

Hisense’s February 21, 2025 press release attributes a 65.8% global Laser TV market share in 2024 to Omdia. That is a market-level statistic, not evidence that the PX3-PRO outsells or outperforms the AWOL model. The same release says the PX3-PRO took the top spot at the 2024 UST Projector Showdown; that result is reported by Hisense and should be understood as a manufacturer-reported award claim, not independent validation in this comparison. See the Hisense press release.
