The listing names ATI Radeon HD 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000 and 6000 series, and NVIDIA GeForce 8, 9, 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 series. Those are the storefront’s historical examples, not a complete inventory of supported modern graphics cards. PCGamingWiki records Direct3D 9.0c, while Steam states DirectX 9.0; neither API label guarantees a particular result on a current PC.

Compare your system’s processor, installed RAM, graphics capability and free storage against the minimum column. Meeting the published minimum is not the same as a verified compatibility guarantee for a specific modern Windows and hardware configuration: these requirements date from the XP/Vista era, and the cited sources do not provide current-PC benchmarks or compatibility tests.

Steam’s page states that, starting January 1, 2024, the Steam client supports Windows 10 and later. That statement concerns the Steam client, not whether Brotherhood will run flawlessly on every Windows 10 or newer setup.
Controller support and setup on PC
Steam marks a controller as optional and recommends an Xbox 360 Controller for Windows. The game-specific PCGamingWiki entry lists Windows controller support as XInput-only. That makes XInput compatibility the key feature to check when choosing a gamepad; no source here establishes native support for every controller model.

- Choose an XInput-compatible controller. An Xbox-style Windows controller is the closest match to Steam’s recommendation. Check the individual model’s specifications rather than assuming every Xbox-branded or PC-marketed gamepad supports XInput.
- Connect or pair it with Windows. Use the connection method supported by your controller, such as USB or wireless pairing.
- Start the game and check recognition. Confirm that the game responds to the controller before relying on it. This is a practical check, not a verified menu-by-menu procedure; the cited sources do not specify exact menu labels or button prompts across models.
For a non-XInput controller, the available sources do not establish a tested workaround or promise that it will work. If controller input is not recognized, verify the model’s XInput support and Windows connection before treating the game as compatible with that device.

Account and store notes
Steam’s listing says a Uplay account is required. Ubisoft’s regional store page says a PC purchase is automatically added to the Ubisoft Connect for PC library for download. Account and storefront details can vary by region or change over time, so check the terms shown by the store where you intend to buy rather than assuming a particular cross-store activation sequence.
