ASRock’s DeskSlim X600 and DeskSlim B760 are 5-liter workstation platforms built around desktop-class CPUs and a low-profile, dual-slot graphics card. Notebookcheck reports that configurations can use NVIDIA’s RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell SFF Edition or RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell, but ASRock’s reviewed specifications do not name those GPUs. Confirm a specific card’s dimensions, power requirements and qualification with ASRock or the seller before buying.
What ASRock announced
The DeskSlim X600 and DeskSlim B760 are compact platforms rather than necessarily complete workstations. ASRock positions the X600 for AI inference, content creation, smart retail, CAD, visualization and multi-display use. It describes the B760 as a compact productivity workstation for business, education, retail and signage. Those are manufacturer use-case descriptions, not independent performance results.

The central feature is expansion in a 5-liter chassis: each platform has one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot for a low-profile, dual-slot graphics card. Notebookcheck identifies the RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell SFF Edition and RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell as reported configuration options. The official product pages specify a physical card envelope but do not confirm either GPU by name, so treat the named-card compatibility as Notebookcheck’s report rather than a complete qualification list.

| Graphics slot and card envelope | One PCIe 5.0 x16; low-profile, dual-slot; up to 200 × 70 × 38 mm, with a 6 mm backplate | One PCIe 5.0 x16; low-profile, dual-slot; up to 200 × 70 × 38 mm, with a 6 mm backplate |
| M.2 storage | One M.2 2280 PCIe Gen5x4 and one M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4x4 | Two M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4x4 |
| Other storage | Two SATA 6 Gb/s ports | Two SATA 6 Gb/s ports |
| Network | One 2.5G LAN port | One 2.5G LAN port |
| Video outputs listed | HDMI, DisplayPort 1.4 and USB4/USB-C; behavior depends on the CPU | Two DisplayPort and one HDMI on the product summary; verify exact outputs for the configuration |
Specifications are from ASRock’s product pages. The X600’s main distinction is its AM5 processor support and a Gen5-capable M.2 slot; the B760 uses LGA1700 processors and has two M.2 Gen4x4 slots. Check the exact CPU generation and memory configuration against the relevant product page before assembling a system.
#1 Best Overall

Check the graphics card before ordering
A card fitting the slot is not enough to establish that it will work in a particular build. ASRock’s maximum envelope for both platforms is 200 mm long, 70 mm high and 38 mm thick, with a 6 mm backplate. Compare all those measurements with the card’s specifications, including its low-profile bracket and any protruding power connector or cable.
- Physical fit: Verify length, height, thickness, backplate and slot design against the chassis limits.
- Power: Confirm the card’s power draw, connector and cable clearance, and the adapter supplied with the exact system configuration.
- GPU qualification: Ask ASRock or the seller to confirm the specific RTX PRO model and configuration. The official pages reviewed do not name the RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell SFF Edition or RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell.
- Thermals and performance: The cited product pages do not provide independent thermal or performance testing, so the published specifications alone do not establish sustained performance under a particular workload.
The X600 page lists a 240 W adapter accessory and describes 240 W and 330 W adapter options. That does not establish that every GPU and CPU combination is supported with either adapter; confirm the included adapter and approved configuration for the system you plan to buy.

What the reported price includes—and does not
Notebookcheck reported a starting price of around $210 on Amazon for the case and mainboard, without storage, CPU or GPU. This is a report-era starting price, not a verified current listing or the price of a complete workstation. Confirm the current seller, bundle contents and total cost of the parts needed for your build.
Availability and who should consider each platform
ASRock notes that a model may not be sold worldwide and advises buyers to contact a local dealer about regional availability. For a build decision, choose between the platforms based on the CPU family and storage layout you need, then verify memory, video outputs, graphics-card fit and power for the exact configuration. A 5-liter case offers a compact footprint, but its limited card envelope makes those checks especially important.
Quick Recap
Best Value
- EXACT-MATCH UPGRADE — 16GB DDR5-5600 (PC5-44800), 1Rx8 Unbuffered non-ECC, 1.1V, CL46, 288-pin. The precise rank, voltage, and timing your system's memory controller expects, so it is recognized at full capacity and runs at its rated speed.
- VERIFIED FITMENT — Compatible with the ASRock DeskSlim X600 Mini PC. The 288-pin Unbuffered (UDIMM) form factor this PC requires — not an ECC/Registered server module or SODIMM. Spec-matched to the PC's memory-population rules.
- PLUG-AND-PLAY PERFORMANCE — JEDEC-standard unbuffered non-ECC module with the SPD profile your system expects: install and boot at rated speed with no BIOS changes. Low-voltage 1.1V DDR5 for cooler, more efficient operation.
- CHECK YOUR CONFIG — System memory support varies by model and processor. Consult your system manual for supported capacities, approved DIMM population order, and installation steps before purchase.
- LIFETIME SUPPORT — Backed by a lifetime replacement warranty and free US-based technical support. Researched, matched, and compatibility-tested by NEMIX RAM, a US-based server memory specialist since 1993, and backed by a lifetime warranty.
