There is no single best ASP.NET admin template for 2026, and this guide does not rank eleven products. The current marketplace listings we could verify, as of 7 October 2026 (UTC), do not provide comparable evidence for eleven products, and marketplace descriptions are seller claims rather than independent tests. What the listings do show is a clear way to narrow the field: first confirm the ASP.NET framework target and rendering model, then check the front-end stack, included pages, update history, and license. Use the candidates below as a starting shortlist and verify each live listing before you buy.
Start with the framework target, not the screenshots
Most “ASP.NET template” searches blur three different things. They are related, but a template built for one will not necessarily suit another, so check the label on the product page before anything else.

- ASP.NET Core is the framework itself. Listings in this category name specific versions, and the newest ones advertise ASP.NET Core 10. Older listings may name earlier Core versions.
- MVC (Model-View-Controller) is an application model inside ASP.NET Core. The app is organized around controllers, views, and models, and a template labelled “Core MVC” is built on that model.
- Razor Pages is a different page-focused model in ASP.NET Core. Each page pairs a Razor view with its code-behind model. A template labelled Razor Pages is not a drop-in replacement for an MVC project, and the reverse is also true.
If your application already uses MVC controllers, a Razor Pages template will require structural changes, and vice versa. Treat the rendering model as a hard constraint and the visual design as a soft one.

The candidates with verified listing details
The table lists what each seller’s page states at the time of review. Where a listing did not state a value, the cell says so rather than guessing.
#1 Best Overall
| Candidate | Framework label on listing | Front-end stack | Advertised scope | Price shown | Support shown | License shown |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dhonu (CodeCanyon listing) | ASP.NET Core 10 and Core MVC | Bootstrap 5.3.8 | Dashboard and application pages; last update July 11, 2026 | $25 | Six months | Not stated in the summary reviewed; read the checkout terms |
| Approx (ThemeForest listing) | ASP.NET Core 10 | Not stated in the summary reviewed | Finance and money-management pages, charts, maps, forms, and layouts | $22 | Six months | Regular license: one end product whose users are not charged; extended license also offered |
| Frest (ThemeSelection listing) | ASP.NET Core admin template, Razor Pages orientation | Not stated | Six layouts | Not stated | Not stated | Not stated |
| HUD and AspStudio (category results) | ASP.NET Core 10 (per category listing) | Not stated | Not stated in the category view | Not stated | Not stated | Not stated |
The category page also contains older and differently targeted .NET products. Those should be excluded unless their individual pages confirm a current target that fits your application.
Dhonu: a Core MVC dashboard with a Bootstrap 5.3.8 base
Dhonu is the most specific candidate for teams that already run MVC and want a current Bootstrap base. Confirm that your application can accept Bootstrap 5.3.8 and its build tooling, because a mismatch in the CSS framework is often more expensive to fix than a missing page. Check that the included code matches the Core MVC structure you use.
Rank #2
Approx: finance-oriented pages and a clear license split
Approx is the candidate to examine if your project is a finance, budgeting, or reporting dashboard, since its listing centres on those page types. Its listing describes charts, maps, and forms as included features. Those are seller descriptions; test the specific pages you need against the live demo or screenshots before committing.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFrest: Razor Pages layouts, with commercial details to confirm
Frest is worth a look if you are building on Razor Pages and want six layout options. The listing we reviewed did not state a price, license, support period, or exact framework version, so you must confirm all four on the product page before it can go on a shortlist.
HUD, AspStudio, and other category entries
These are named in the category results as ASP.NET Core 10 products, but the category view did not give enough detail to assess their pages, update history, or license. Open each product page and apply the same checks used for the others.
Compare candidates on six axes
When you have two or more real options, score them on the same axes. Each one below is a question to answer from the product page or the included code, not a claim to accept from a summary.
- Framework and deployment model: the exact ASP.NET Core version, and whether the template uses MVC, Razor Pages, or both.
- UI framework and build tooling: the CSS framework version, the JavaScript build setup, and whether it fits your current front-end pipeline.
- Included pages and components: the pages and components you actually need, and whether they are real application screens or only layout shells.
- Update recency, documentation, and support: the date of the last update, the quality of setup documentation, and the support period stated at purchase.
- License fit: whether the license covers internal use, client projects, or a paid product used by end users.
- Total cost: the purchase price, the cost of the extended license if you need it, and the effort to adapt the template to your architecture.
Marketplace listings do not establish independent accessibility, security, performance, or integration results. If those matter to your project, test them yourself with your own data and deployment settings.
Read the license against how you will deploy
License terms are where template purchases most often go wrong. Using Approx as an example, its regular license covers one end product whose users are not charged. A SaaS product, a client portal billed to customers, or a template reused across several client sites may need a different license. The listing also offers an extended license, so select the tier that matches your real use before you deploy, not after. Read the full terms on the product page at checkout, and keep a copy with your project records.
Best Value
- Applying all key ASP.NET Core components, including MVC for HTML generation, .NET Core, EF Core, ASP.NET Identity, dependency injection, and more
- Integrating ASP.NET Core with leading client-side frameworks, including Bootstrap
- ASP.NET Core code for implementing business logic and data transformations
- Handling configuration, routing, controllers, views, and common tasks (including posting forms and presenting data)
- Performing complementary tasks: error handling, logging, application design, authentication, localization, and more
Price and support are time-sensitive
The prices above ($25 for Dhonu, $22 for Approx) and the six-month support periods are what the listings showed on 7 October 2026. Marketplace prices change, promotions end, and support terms can be revised. Confirm the figures at checkout, and check whether the six-month support window covers the work you plan to do; once it lapses, bug fixes and framework-version updates may need to be handled in-house.
Checklist before you buy
- Confirm the ASP.NET Core version and whether the template uses MVC or Razor Pages.
- Check the CSS and JavaScript stack against your existing front end.
- Open the live demo and confirm the pages you need are present and functional.
- Check the date of the last update and read the included setup documentation.
- Read the full license and choose the tier that matches your deployment model.
- Verify the price and support period at checkout.
- Exclude any product whose page does not state a current framework target.
Once these checks are complete, you can compare the remaining candidates on the same terms rather than on screenshots alone.
