This article keeps the Version 1.4 day-one checklist as a retrospective: what the update added, what the official and secondary guides recommended, and which mistakes were common. The same steps are still useful when you check a newer version.
Check mail and the Event Center first, then confirm what is still live
The Version 1.4 launch ran a three-day Tribute of Companionship sign-in event. According to Gryphline’s official 1.4 update notes, it paid 3,000 Oroberyl, five Basic Headhunting Permits, and one six-star Farsight sword. Those were time-limited rewards. The notes give finite windows, and those windows closed when the game moved on to a later banner and version cycle.
For any current version, the correct first step is to open the in-game Event Center and your mail, then check each reward’s listed end date. Do not rely on old reward totals or redemption codes from a 1.4 article.
Pick a story route that matches your progress
Version 1.4 added two areas, the Yinglung Pass and the North Wuling Exclusion Zone. The official notes describe an early route into the Wuling chapter that opens once you finish a specified Valley IV mission. You can return to Valley IV and continue Chapter I afterwards. In practice, the choice works like this:

Plan pulls around your roster, not the old schedule
The Version 1.4 notes listed a Phase 1 Arcane banner followed by a Phase 2 Liino banner, with the switch scheduled for August 9, 2026 at server time. Treat that as history. Both banners are no longer offered, so the useful question is which character your team lacks, not which banner to chase.
Decide Arcane’s role before spending upgrade materials
Arcane is the character most often discussed in Version 1.4 build guides. The BlueStacks Content Team’s 2026 guide describes two build directions, and the official July 2026 tools announcement confirms that Arcane was added to the community-facing Team Picks and Build Guide pages. The two directions differ as follows.

Choose the role first, because the stat priority and gear set differ between the paths and farming for the wrong set wastes time. The BlueStacks guide is a secondary source, not an official ranking, and it does not provide controlled damage tests. Compare the in-game skill and stat descriptions before you commit scarce upgrade materials.
Start the factory’s gas chain, then scale it deliberately
The Version 1.4 guide says the AIC factory gained gas as a material state, and that gas can be converted among gas, liquid, and solid forms. Its recommended opening sequence is below.
- Build the Xiranflow Cloudseeder Station.
- Collect Inergen from vents.
- Route the Inergen into the Reactor Crucible to convert it into other gases, such as Xiragen.
- Save a blueprint of the working route before you expand it.
The guide warns that gas routing is more involved than ordinary belts. Build a short route, confirm that it produces what you need, and only then extend it. A large network that you have not tested is the most common cause of wasted materials here.

Use the official planning tools to total costs
Gryphline’s official tools announcement dated July 23, 2026 says the progression calculator lets you select Operators and weapons, set target levels, and see the materials needed for each. A single plan can include up to eight Operators. The official update dated September 22, 2026 adds that map routes can collect Aurylenes, storage crates, and resources in one run, and that the progression calculator is available on PC. Confirm your platform and region in the game before following any tool-specific instructions, because availability may vary.
Optional: Echoes of War
The Version 1.4 notes introduced Echoes of War as a challenge mode that they describe as permanent. A first Normal clear awards Oroberyl, and higher difficulties give more rewards. Seasonal content rotates, so check whether the mode is currently active before planning around it.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating Version 1.4 rewards as claimable. The sign-in event and banners were dated offers, and their windows have closed.
- Farming Arcane gear before choosing her role. The damage and support paths use different primary stats and gear sets.
- Spending upgrade materials without totals. Run the progression calculator to see the full cost of a target level first.
- Building a large gas network before testing it. Test a small route, save the blueprint, and expand from there.
- Confusing in-game vinyl rewards with physical records. The BlueStacks guide refers to Talosite Exchange cosmetics and in-game collectibles, not retail physical media.
