A console-focused budget
If your main goal is the lowest upfront price among the examples here, Switch 2 and PS5 Digital Edition cost less than both listed ROG handhelds. If you want a particular console-exclusive library or a straightforward home-console setup, choose around that use rather than assuming a handheld replaces it.
What belongs in a real cost comparison?
The console or handheld price is only the starting point. Your eventual total depends on your existing games, what you plan to buy, whether you pay for online or catalog services, and any storage or accessories you choose.

- Games you already own: Count only titles accessible on the device you are considering. A Windows handheld may make some PC-store purchases useful, but game and launcher compatibility varies.
