ARC Raiders quests send you into raids to visit locations, find or deliver items, interact with devices, or fight specific ARC enemies. The October 8, 2026 Frozen Trail update added 22 quests and made quest objectives and completions grant XP. Embark’s update notes do not list the new quests or establish a current total, so check the in-game quest descriptions for the latest objectives and rewards.
How do quests work in ARC Raiders?
Quests are objectives issued by traders in Speranza. Older guides describe accepting quests there, tracking them through the quest logbook or HUD during a raid, then returning to turn in completed quests and claim their rewards. Frozen Trail updated quest-system features and sorting, so rely on the current in-game menus if labels or steps differ from those older instructions.

Objectives vary. They can require you to reach a place, locate or deliver an item, use a device, or defeat a particular ARC enemy. The game’s current quest description is the authority for what a specific objective requires.
What changed in Frozen Trail?
Embark’s Frozen Trail – 2.0 Update notes, released October 8, 2026, confirm that 22 quests were added and that completing quests and quest objectives now grants XP. XP is shown in quest descriptions and when claiming a completed quest. The update also changes older photo objectives named in the notes: those now require taking pictures with the new camera.

The patch notes do not name the 22 quests or their individual rewards. A pre-update count is not a reliable current total: for example, PC Gamer reported 100 quests in a May 1, 2026 Riven Tides snapshot, but that count predates Frozen Trail and does not establish how many quests are available now.
Do ARC Raiders quests need to be completed in order?
Not all progression is strictly linear. A September 2026 guide reports that players could work on quests from several traders at once, while later quests within a trader’s chain could require earlier completions. Because that guide predates Frozen Trail, check the current quest screen for prerequisites rather than assuming every quest is available immediately.

The same pre-update guide lists Shani, Celeste, Tian Wen, Apollo, and Lance as quest-giving traders. Treat that roster as a dated snapshot, not a guaranteed current list.
What do ARC Raiders quests reward?
Older guides describe quest rewards including crafting materials, coins, equipment or cosmetic gear, and blueprints. The reward depends on the individual quest; inspect its current in-game description before choosing what to pursue. Frozen Trail’s confirmed XP rewards are additional progression credit for quest objectives and completions.

How should you choose which quest to pursue?
Compare active quests by reward, objective, route, prerequisites, and the risk of the required raid destination. Combining objectives on one route can save trips, but it is a planning approach—not a guarantee of the safest or fastest run.
- Reward: Check whether the quest offers a blueprint or another item you specifically want.
- Objective: Note whether you must travel, collect or deliver something, interact with a device, or fight an enemy; each calls for a different approach.
- Route overlap: If multiple active objectives are near one another, consider taking them in the same raid.
- Prerequisites: Confirm that the quest is available and that any earlier chain task is complete.
- Raid risk: Consider the destination and the extra exposure or combat its objective may involve.
How quests differ from the Reward Pass
Quests and the Reward Pass are separate progression systems. Frozen Trail quest objectives and completions award XP; the Reward Pass advances through Reward Points and Feats. Embark’s Reward Passes: our new progression mechanic, explained announcement describes a 60-level Frozen Trail pass with free and premium tracks, plus a Legacy Pass containing Raider Deck rewards.
