OxyROMon is a free command-line tool for organizing and archiving ROM collections. Written in Rust, it checks files against known-good databases and supports console, computer and arcade systems through Logiqx DAT files. Its commands cover importing, validating, checking, converting, exporting and purging ROMs, as well as making M3U playlists for multi-disc games. It handles original and lossless formats and can export to lossy formats without changing the lossless files. Users can sort collections by region, use 1G1R mode, or organize arcade sets by BIOS, parent and clone. Settings are stored in SQLite with global options and per-system overrides. Database sources include No-Intro and Redump for consoles, and MAME or FBNeo for arcade systems. An optional server provides a GraphQL endpoint and web interface for browsing collections, settings and imports. It defaults to loopback, but URL imports can reach hosts accessible to the server, so take care before exposing it more broadly. No-Intro DAT files are checked for updates but are not downloaded by the tool.

Who it is for

OxyROMon suits people who manage and archive ROM collections through command-line workflows. Its formats and export options also serve users preparing collections for external systems such as EverDrive or ODE.
