FreePresenter
What FreePresenter is
FreePresenter is presentation software for churches, available for Windows and macOS. It displays song lyrics, Bible passages, stage content, programs, calendars, and announcement slides. Users can get songs and Bibles from FreePresenter’s servers and use them to build presentations and announcements. Live search lets a user find a song or Bible verse and display it immediately.
The app lists Window, NDI, and DeckLink as output types, and supports sending multiple outputs with different layouts. Its listed capabilities also include media playback, lyrics and scripture display, stage display, and multi-screen output. Blackmagic Design UltraStudio and DeckLink outputs are described as supporting Windows and Mac; video playback on SDI outputs was added in version 1.4.2. Elgato StreamDeck is described as customizable and deeply integrated, while StreamDeck Companion support is listed as coming in Winter 2026.
StarwayApps LLC develops and maintains FreePresenter. The maker says the software will remain free to use, though some cloud features in development may carry a monthly fee. Full cloud support is being developed as an opt-in subscription feature. The software may not be resold.
