What Dscout is

Dscout is an experience research platform for researchers, designers, and product teams. It supports usability testing, real-time intercepts, field and diary studies, media-rich surveys, and interviews. Research teams can recruit participants from Dscout’s panel, use partner panels with over 3 million additional participants, or invite their own participants. The platform covers research recruitment, fielding, analysis, and sharing, with tools for both moderated and unmoderated research and interview transcription.

Dscout AI can draft a study from a research question, Figma prototype, or URL, with suggested questions and structure. Its AI Moderator guides participants during interviews, asks follow-up questions, and captures feedback. For analysis, Dscout AI can find patterns and takeaways, answer questions about research data with sources, and create summaries and themes. Integrations listed for the plans include Miro, Slack, and Figma. Connecting a Figma account can generate heat maps for prototypes used in Express usability mission task questions.

Core offers flex seats and unlimited concurrent studies. Select adds real-time rich-media Intercept studies, while Enterprise includes Core and Select, advanced custom features and integrations, and support for up to five concurrent project deliveries. Dscout launched in 2011 and is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois.
