What Ashio is

Ashio is a web-based anonymous reporting channel and case-management service designed to support EU whistleblowing obligations. Employees, contractors, and partners can submit reports without IP tracking, cookies, or fingerprinting. Investigators can use encrypted reply threads to request more context while preserving reporter anonymity. Teams track reports from submission to resolution through a status workflow, with case actions and changes recorded in an audit-ready activity log.

Voice reports are transcribed on the reporter’s device, and the audio is deleted when transcription finishes. Ashio says reports are encrypted with AES-256-GCM, recipient keys use P-256 ECDH, and messages are verified with ECDSA P-256 signatures. It says it is GDPR compliant and hosts data in ISO 27001-certified data centers in Switzerland. The Basic plan includes anonymous intake, speech-to-text, case management, deadline monitoring, notifications, audit logging, adjustable branding, and 17 languages.
