When is Apple HomePad coming out?
Reports point to October 13, 2026, as the expected announcement date. T3 attributes the timing to Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, and 9to5Mac also describes the product as expected around that date. This is a reported event date, not an Apple-confirmed launch or shipping date. Apple has not announced an order window or availability date.

Is HomePad a real Apple product?
The reports describe a long-rumored Apple device, but Apple has not confirmed a product called HomePad. Macworld says the name is a placeholder; other coverage also uses “home hub.” MacRumors has reported on Apple retail preparations interpreted as possible groundwork for a display-equipped hub, but that does not confirm a product or its release.

#1 Best Overall
- Premium, immersive, high-fidelity audio
- Screen: MacRumors reports a square display in the 6-to-7-inch range; 9to5Mac describes a 6-inch screen.
- Chip and Siri: MacRumors reports an A18-or-newer chip and Siri AI capabilities.
- Video calling: FaceTime support is among the features reported by MacRumors.
- Software: The operating system may be called homeOS, according to MacRumors; Apple has not confirmed that name.
- Design: 9to5Mac likens the design to the iMac G4. MacRumors reports both a tabletop version with a speaker base and a wall-mounted version.
Will there be a wall-mounted version?
MacRumors has reported two possible formats: a tabletop hub with a speaker base and a wall-mounted model. That remains a rumor, so there is no confirmed installation method, power requirement, or accessory compatibility to plan around. Apple has not published model details.
What else could Apple announce?
9to5Mac reports that a HomePod mini update and Apple TV 4K may accompany the hub. These are expected products in reporting, not confirmed announcements from Apple.
