What Apple One includes
Apple One bundles Apple subscriptions with iCloud+ storage. Apple’s U.S. page lists three monthly tiers:

These U.S. prices and inclusions are listed on Apple’s Apple One page. Family Sharing must be configured. Apple says a subscription not already held by a customer is free for the first month of Apple One; an existing subscription may continue billing separately during the trial. Additional iCloud storage can also be bought separately. Apple’s page describes device access across Apple products, Apple Music and Apple TV on the web, Apple Music on Android, and select third-party devices.
Apple’s savings comparisons depend on which included services a customer would otherwise buy. If you only need music and storage, unused TV, games, news, or fitness services are not personal savings.

Compare the alternatives by what you need
Spotify Premium: best for music and household accounts
Spotify is a music-first option, not a replacement for Apple One’s storage or wider service mix. Its U.S. page displays these monthly prices: Individual $12.99, Student $6.99, Duo $18.99, and Family $21.99. Spotify lists offline playback, audiobooks, podcasts, and lossless listening up to 24-bit/44.1 kHz. Student access to Hulu is subject to eligibility; introductory offers are conditional.
- Individual: one account.
- Student: for eligible students.
- Duo: two people living at the same address.
- Family: up to six family members living at the same address.

Google One: best for Google storage
Google One is primarily a storage plan for Google Photos, Drive, and Gmail. The U.S. plan page lists Basic with 100 GB for $1.99 per month, Google AI Plus with 2 TB for $9.99 per month, and Google AI Pro with 5 TB for $19.99 per month. The displayed paid tiers can share storage with up to five others. AI plans include features beyond storage, so their prices are not a like-for-like entertainment-bundle comparison.
YouTube benefits vary by plan and country: Google’s overview says AI Ultra includes an individual YouTube Premium plan at no additional cost, while AI Pro includes YouTube Premium Lite at no extra cost. These are different offers, and eligibility varies by country. Check the specific benefit for your location and tier on Google One plans and pricing and Google One’s overview; do not assume every Google One plan includes full YouTube Premium.

YouTube Premium: best for YouTube video and music
YouTube Premium combines ad-free YouTube viewing, offline video downloads, background playback, and YouTube Music app access with ad-free and offline music. Ads, sponsorships, and promotions embedded in creator content may still appear. It does not provide a general cloud-storage allowance, so you will need a separate storage plan if that is part of your Apple One use.

Amazon Prime: best when delivery matters too
Amazon Prime combines membership benefits such as fast delivery and video programming with Amazon Music benefits. It may suit a household that already values delivery and wants entertainment extras. The official U.S. page consulted does not establish a current price or confirm that the included music tier is equivalent to a paid standalone music subscription. Prime is not a documented substitute for general cloud storage. Review the current local terms on Amazon Prime.

How to compare the real cost
- List the services you would actually pay for. Do not count a bundle feature as savings if you would not otherwise subscribe to it.
- Set your storage requirement. Compare the capacity and provider you need—such as iCloud+ or Google Photos, Drive, and Gmail—rather than treating every gigabyte as interchangeable.
- Check music and video features. Confirm which music service is included, whether offline playback or ad-free viewing matters, and whether an offer is full Premium or a different tier such as YouTube Premium Lite.
- Verify sharing and location rules. Spotify Duo and Family require members at the same address; YouTube’s family plan has a same-residential-address requirement. Google’s YouTube benefits vary by country, and prices or availability can differ outside the U.S.
- Add separate plans where needed. If you choose a music or video service that lacks storage, include the cost of the cloud plan you still need. A separate music plan and storage plan may be better value than paying for unused bundle features.
