What the display and performance specifications mean
Display size and refresh rate
Apple specifies a 6.9-inch OLED panel at 2868 × 1320 pixels and 460 ppi, with adaptive refresh rates up to 120 Hz. iQOO advertises a 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 144 Hz refresh rate. The higher stated refresh rate may matter to people who prioritize smoother-feeling motion in supported content, but it does not by itself determine display quality. Resolution, brightness, calibration, software behavior and the content being viewed also matter; the listed specifications do not provide an independent head-to-head display assessment.

Chip and gaming
Apple lists the A20 Pro with hardware-accelerated ray tracing; iQOO lists Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. These platform details are useful for identifying each phone’s hardware, but they do not establish which one delivers higher gaming frame rates, sustains performance longer or runs cooler. That requires comparable independent testing with the same games, settings and test conditions. iQOO also advertises a 6.5K IceCore VC cooling system, which is a manufacturer claim rather than a verified comparative result.
Camera comparison: flexibility is not a quality verdict
Apple’s listed rear setup comprises three 48 MP modules: Main, Ultra Wide and Telephoto. The specifications show different camera arrangements: Apple lists a dedicated telephoto module, while iQOO’s cited product page lists main and wide-angle rear cameras. Megapixel counts do not rank image quality. Sensor behavior, lenses, processing and performance across lighting conditions all affect results, and the published specifications here do not settle which phone takes better photos. Look for independent comparisons using the same scenes and conditions if camera quality is the deciding factor.
Battery, charging and software support
Battery claims are not directly comparable tests
iQOO gives the 15R a typical battery capacity of 7,600 mAh and a rated capacity of 7,440 mAh. Its product page reports 42.4 hours of video playback from an iQOO lab test. Apple’s India overview advertises up to 43 hours of video playback for iPhone 18 Pro Max and calls it “the longest battery life in an iPhone.” Both playback figures are vendor claims, and the available information does not establish that Apple and iQOO used the same protocol or conditions. Do not treat the figures as a head-to-head battery test or a guarantee of everyday runtime.

iQOO advertises 100 W charging, while Apple lists MagSafe and Qi2 wireless charging up to 25 W. These are different charging methods and manufacturer-listed maximums; they do not establish comparative charging time. The cited specifications do not provide a like-for-like charging test.

Apple offers listed storage capacities up to 2 TB. The iQOO India launch post gives configurations up to 512 GB, with either 8 GB or 12 GB of memory depending on configuration. Buyers who keep large video libraries or apps on the phone should compare the exact storage option they intend to purchase; memory and storage are different specifications.
What is the iPhone 18 Pro Max vs iQOO 15R price difference in India?
A reliable current price difference is not established by the available figures. The iQOO India community launch post dated February 24, 2026, reported launch prices of ₹44,999 for 8 GB/256 GB, ₹47,999 for 12 GB/256 GB and ₹52,999 for 12 GB/512 GB, with sales beginning March 3, 2026.
