Sony Store Japan’s current PS5 Pro purchase campaign is open to eligible Japan residents until October 7, 2026, at 23:59 Japan time. Applicants need a Japan-registered Sony account unified with a My Sony ID and at least 60 hours of PS4 and/or PS5 gameplay on that account during Sony’s specified two-year period. Sony will check eligibility first and hold a lottery only if eligible applications outnumber planned stock. The console is model CFI-7100B01 with a 2TB SSD; Sony lists it at ¥137,980 including tax. Check Sony’s campaign page before applying, since the deadline and availability are time-sensitive.

- You must live in Japan and use PlayStation online services with a Sony account registered in Japan.
- The account must have at least 60 total hours of gameplay on PS5 and/or PS4 between September 27, 2024, and September 27, 2026, at 23:59.
- The Sony account must be unified with a My Sony ID. Sony says My Sony IDs newly registered from January 19, 2022, are already unified. If you have an older or no My Sony ID, follow the account-unification instructions on Sony’s campaign page.
These criteria qualify you to apply; they do not guarantee a console. Sony checks the application and purchase conditions after the application period, then draws lots if eligible applications exceed planned inventory. Sony has not published the stock quantity, number of applications, or odds of selection.

How to enter
- Sign in to Sony’s purchase-application form with the Sony account that meets the residence, account, My Sony ID and gameplay requirements.
- Submit the application by October 7, 2026, at 23:59 Japan time. Each Sony account may apply for one console.
- Keep access to the email address registered to that Sony account. Sony says it expects to begin notifying applicants around October 26. Allow messages from
@email.playstation.com. Linking LINE after applying is another way to receive a notification. - If selected, sign in to the dedicated Sony Store online purchase page with the same Sony account used to apply and complete the purchase by November 2, 2026, at 11:59 Japan time.
Sony lists credit card, Rakuten Pay, PayPay and Merpay as payment methods. This is an online order, not a purchase at a physical Sony Store. The order is for delivery within Japan; Sony prohibits changing the delivery address after ordering, forwarding the parcel through a carrier, or collecting it at a distribution center, and says such requests can invalidate the order. The selection cannot be transferred. Sony says unpurchased allocations may be offered in an additional draw among eligible unsuccessful applicants from November onward.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Are the rules the same at every Japanese retailer?
No. Sony Store’s application conditions and dates apply to Sony’s campaign, not to every retailer. Japanese retailers may use lotteries, invitations, or other sale formats, with their own account, purchase-history, entry and payment terms. Read the specific retailer’s current notice rather than assuming Sony’s rules apply elsewhere.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsKojima Net: a historical example, not an open 2026 lottery
Kojima Net’s PS5 Pro lottery page documents a closed 2024 launch-era campaign. It required a Kojima Net account and qualifying purchase history at Kojima Net or a Kojima, Bic Camera or Sofmap group store during the stated two-year window. Applications were limited to one per person, and winners had to pay using specified Kojima/Bic Camera payment cards. Those terms illustrate how retailer rules can differ; they are not current Sony rules or an open Kojima offer.
Nojima Online: invitations are retailer-specific
Nojima Online’s explanation describes several anti-resale formats, including lotteries, secret sales, invitation sales and offers for designated customers. It says its invitation approach began with PS5 Pro reservations in 2024 and prioritized invited members at higher account ranks; newsletter settings affected invitation notices. This describes Nojima’s approach and historical launch context, not a currently open PS5 Pro draw. Check Nojima’s live notice for any current offer.
