One iPhone 16 Pro submission recorded 2,808 single-core and 8,347 multi-core in Geekbench 6.6.0; those are results from a single test, not an official Apple score or a guarantee for every device.
Apple A18 Pro specifications
Apple lists the A18 Pro as the chip in the iPhone 16 Pro, introduced in 2024. Its published core configuration is:

What is the A18 Pro Geekbench score?
A Geekbench Browser entry for an iPhone 16 Pro reports 2,808 single-core and 8,347 multi-core. It was run in Geekbench 6.6.0 for iOS AArch64 on iOS 26.3 and uploaded on February 12, 2026. These are the scores from that one submitted test, not an Apple-published rating or an average across iPhone 16 Pro devices. View the Geekbench 6.6.0 CPU result.

What the Geekbench numbers measure
CPU results
Geekbench 6 CPU workloads include data compression, image processing and machine-learning tasks. The single-core score reflects performance in workloads using one CPU core; the multi-core score reflects workloads using multiple cores. Neither number directly measures every app or establishes how quickly a particular real-world task will finish.
Score scale and test conditions
Primate Labs says Geekbench 6 is calibrated against a baseline score of 2,500; on that scale, a score twice as high indicates twice the performance. The benchmark documentation also describes pauses between workloads to reduce thermal effects and a shared-task model for multi-threading. Those design choices help make results interpretable, but one run cannot establish sustained performance during long gaming sessions or other continuous workloads. Geekbench 6 Internals (May 2024).
Rank #2
- Titanium frame combines strength and lightness, giving the iPhone 16 Pro a premium feel while reducing weight for prolonged daily use. The polished edges and textured back enhance grip and handling, making it easier to use during long calls, gaming sessions, or when capturing photos and videos on the move.
GPU performance is a separate question
The scores above are CPU results, not a Geekbench GPU score. Geekbench’s GPU compute workloads cover image processing, computational photography, computer vision and machine learning. A CPU result should not be used to infer the A18 Pro’s GPU score or gaming frame rates.

How to use this result when comparing chips
- Compare results from the same Geekbench version and the same workload category; Geekbench 6 scores should not be treated as directly interchangeable with Geekbench 5 or Geekbench 7 scores.
- Keep single-core and multi-core results separate, since they describe different CPU workload patterns.
- For GPU comparisons, match the benchmark test and API rather than comparing a GPU result with a CPU score.
- Check the device, operating system and test conditions attached to each submission. A single result is a useful example, not evidence of the typical score across devices.
- For a practical comparison involving gaming or demanding apps, look for comparable measurements of sustained performance, thermals, power use and the actual app or game. The result cited here does not measure those outcomes.
