Neither projector is the better choice for everyone. Choose the Anker Nebula P1 if you want detachable wireless speakers and a built-in 130° gimbal and can supply external power. Choose the XGIMI MoGo 3 Pro if low carry weight, automated image setup, licensed Netflix and support for a 65W USB-C power bank matter more. Both are specified at 1080p, but the available evidence does not establish a picture-quality winner between these exact models.
At a glance: Nebula P1 vs. MoGo 3 Pro
| Feature | Anker Nebula P1 | XGIMI MoGo 3 Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Resolution | 1920 × 1080 pixels, according to Anker Japan’s specification. | 1920 × 1080 pixels, according to XGIMI’s specification. |
| Listed brightness | 650 ANSI lumens. Anker describes this as an average measured in its test environment; settings, use and age can affect brightness. | 450 ISO lumens. XGIMI says brightness varies with conditions and is measured under its stated standard and test mode. |
| Weight and dimensions | About 2.4 kg; 124 × 130 × 284 mm, per Anker Japan. | 1.1 kg; 204.9 × 95 × 95 mm, per XGIMI. |
| Power | No built-in battery; it must be connected to power. An external USB-C source needs to meet the projector’s power requirement. | No built-in battery is specified. XGIMI supports a Type-C 65W power bank or external supply; the PowerBase Stand is sold separately. |
| Audio | Detachable wireless satellite speakers, listed at 20 W combined, plus Dolby Audio. | Two built-in 5 W Harman/Kardon speakers and Dolby Audio. |
| Image size and positioning | Advertised projection range: 20–180 inches. A 130° gimbal lets you reposition the projector. | Technical projection range: 40–200 inches; XGIMI recommends 60–120 inches for best viewing. Its built-in stand rotates 130°. |
| Smart TV and setup | Google TV. An independent review reports auto focus and vertical and horizontal keystone adjustment; app availability can vary by region. | Google TV with an officially licensed Netflix app. ISA 2.0 includes autofocus, automatic keystone correction, obstacle avoidance and screen alignment. |
The brightness figures are not an apples-to-apples comparison: Anker lists ANSI lumens, while XGIMI lists ISO lumens. The numbers alone do not show which projector looks brighter. Both manufacturers specify 1080p, but matching resolution does not establish equal image quality.

Which one is easier to carry and power?
MoGo 3 Pro is lighter
At 1.1 kg, the MoGo 3 Pro is substantially lighter than the P1 at about 2.4 kg, based on manufacturer figures. Its compact dimensions may also suit a smaller bag. Weight does not tell the whole portability story, though: the P1’s detachable speaker system and distinct form factor are part of what you carry.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteNeither should be mistaken for a projector with an internal battery
The P1 has no internal battery. Anker says it must be connected to power, and What Hi-Fi?’s review reports that an external USB-C source needs at least 100 W. The review also reports Anker’s claim that its 737 Power Bank can provide one hour in a specified full-brightness configuration; that is a manufacturer claim reported by the reviewer, not an independent runtime test.

How do their picture specifications compare?
Resolution and brightness need context
Both are specified at 1920 × 1080. The P1’s 650 ANSI-lumen figure and the MoGo 3 Pro’s 450 ISO-lumen figure use different measurement standards, so it would be misleading to calculate a percentage difference or declare a brightness winner from those listings. Neither the specifications nor the available independent reviews provide a controlled comparison of these exact projectors on the same screen, in the same mode and under the same lighting.

Projection size depends on placement
Anker lists a 20–180-inch image range for the P1. Its support FAQ gives recommended distance examples from 60 inches at 1.59 m to 120 inches at 3.19 m. Anker says manual keystone adjustment may be needed when the projection distance is outside its stated 4 m condition.

Which has the more useful sound and setup features?
P1: speakers that can be placed separately
The P1’s wireless satellite speakers detach from the projector, so you can place them apart rather than relying only on sound from the projector’s position. Anker lists their combined output as 20 W and includes Dolby Audio. This is a useful design difference if speaker placement matters; it does not establish that the P1 sounds better in every room.
MoGo 3 Pro: more explicitly specified automatic alignment
The MoGo 3 Pro has two built-in 5 W Harman/Kardon speakers, an adjustable stand with 130° rotation and XGIMI’s ISA 2.0 features: autofocus, automatic keystone correction, obstacle avoidance and screen alignment. These functions can reduce manual setup, but they are manufacturer feature claims, not a guarantee that every wall, screen or placement will be corrected perfectly.

The P1 also has a 130° gimbal and auto focus, according to Anker’s specifications and the What Hi-Fi? review. That review discusses the P1’s image and sound in its own review room, but its comparison is with the MoGo 4, not the MoGo 3 Pro. TechRadar’s P1 review adds design and connection context, but neither review supplies a controlled P1-versus-MoGo-3-Pro result.

What about Google TV and Netflix?
Both models use Google TV. XGIMI specifically identifies the MoGo 3 Pro’s Netflix app as officially licensed. What Hi-Fi? describes major streaming apps on the P1 and notes regional app caveats. Streaming catalogs and app support can depend on the market and change over time, so check the services you use in your region before purchase rather than assuming every catalog or app is identical everywhere.

Which projector should you buy?
Choose the Nebula P1 if
- You want detachable wireless speakers that can be positioned away from the projector.
- The integrated 130° gimbal suits how you plan to place or aim it.
- You can use mains power or bring a compatible external power source and do not require an internal battery.
Choose the MoGo 3 Pro if
- Lower carry weight is a priority.
- You want XGIMI’s listed automatic alignment features and officially licensed Netflix.
- You want the option of a Type-C 65W power bank and are comfortable buying the PowerBase Stand separately if you want that accessory.
If picture quality is your deciding factor
The available evidence does not settle a direct image-quality contest between these two models. Both are 1080p on paper, but the different brightness standards and the lack of a controlled head-to-head test leave that question open. If possible, compare them in person using the same screen, image size, picture mode and ambient lighting.
Prices and lifespan claims
Anker Japan lists the P1 at ¥149,900 on its Japan-market product page; that figure should not be treated as a price for other countries. XGIMI’s store price varies by regional storefront, so check the local page for a current price. Anker and XGIMI each state a 25,000-hour light-source lifespan for their respective projector; these are manufacturer estimates, not a guarantee of identical real-world service life.
