The Anker 2.4G Wireless Vertical Ergonomic Optical Mouse (model A7852) is a basic, receiver-based vertical mouse with five buttons and three selectable DPI levels. Anker says its handshake-shaped design encourages a neutral wrist and arm position, but the available information is manufacturer documentation—not independent comfort testing. It needs two AAA batteries, which are not included, and its previous/next thumb buttons are not recognized on Mac OS X.
What the Anker A7852 offers
The A7852 connects through a 2.4G USB receiver rather than Bluetooth. Anker lists five buttons, optical tracking, and 800, 1200, and 1600 DPI settings. The receiver is stored in the mouse, and the package includes the mouse, receiver, and instruction manual. Two AAA batteries are required but are not included. Anker’s product listing

Setup and DPI controls
Connect the receiver
- Insert two AAA batteries into the mouse.
- Remove the USB receiver from its storage slot in the mouse and connect it to the computer.
- Turn on the mouse and allow the computer to detect it. The product uses a 2.4G receiver; Anker does not list Bluetooth pairing for this model. Anker’s product listing
How do I make my mouse move faster?
Press the DPI button to cycle through 800, 1200, and 1600 DPI. A higher DPI moves the cursor farther for the same physical movement, so try each setting and keep the one that feels controllable on your screen. Anker says the LED flashes red when the DPI button is pressed or when the mouse is powered on. Anker Support: DPI button

Anker says the LED bar blinks red while the mouse moves when battery power is low. Replace both AAA batteries if that signal appears and cursor response becomes unreliable. Anker Support: DPI button
Ergonomics: Anker’s claim versus what is established
Anker describes the shape as a handshake grip intended to encourage a neutral wrist and arm position and reduce strain. That is the manufacturer’s design claim; the published materials do not establish that this mouse prevents, treats, or reduces a medical condition, and they do not provide independent comparative or clinical test results. A vertical shape is not a guarantee of comfort. Hand size, grip, desk height, pointer sensitivity, and how readily someone adapts to a different mouse can all affect fit. The listed measurements can help with a rough size check, but they cannot establish whether it will feel comfortable for a particular person.

It may suit someone who wants a vertical mouse with a simple 2.4G receiver, three DPI choices, and a stored receiver, and who is comfortable supplying AAA batteries.
