To get Angel TV on a Samsung smart TV, open APPS, search for Angel, choose the Angel app, and select Install. When it finishes, select Add to Home, then open Angel from the TV’s home screen. Here, “download” means installing the streaming app; Angel’s Samsung instructions do not describe saving shows for offline viewing.
Install Angel TV from the Samsung TV app store
- From the Samsung TV home screen, select APPS.
- On the Apps screen, select the magnifying-glass search icon.
- Search for Angel, then select the Angel icon in the results.
- Select Install.
- After installation completes, select Add to Home.
- Open Angel from the TV home screen.

Check whether your Samsung TV is compatible
Angel lists Samsung TVs among the supported devices. Its Samsung-specific guide says the app is best compatible with Samsung TVs that are four years old or newer. Angel’s device page separately says most TVs made in the last five years are compatible with its service. These are practical guidelines rather than guarantees for every model: search the TV’s own APPS store to confirm whether Angel is available for your set. Why Angel may not appear in Samsung APPS
If searching the TV’s store does not show Angel, the model or app-store region may affect availability. Angel says its app is available to download worldwide, but a specific model or store region may still determine what appears on the TV. (Angel’s device availability guidance)

- Confirm the TV is a smart TV and search its built-in APPS store for “Angel.”
- Keep the TV software and the app up to date, as Angel recommends.
- If the app remains unavailable, contact Angel through its device support page.
Use another streaming device only if needed
If Angel is not available in the Samsung TV store, Angel also lists Roku, Fire TV, and Google TV as supported platforms. That does not mean a separate player is required when Angel is available directly on the TV.
For a television with an HDMI port, Roku’s Streaming Stick is one optional fallback; Roku describes it as an HDMI streaming device supporting up to 1080p. Choose an external player only if it suits the TV’s ports and resolution needs. (Angel’s supported devices page; Roku Streaming Stick)
