Amkette’s story is one of expansion: the company says it began in computer storage devices in 1986 and has since grown its catalog to include computer peripherals, audio, gaming gear, and mobile and power accessories. Its stated guiding idea is to develop products around consumer needs. The company’s own About Us page also refers to roots dating to 1984, so the two dates should be kept distinct rather than treated as a single confirmed founding year.
When was Amkette founded?
Amkette identifies its corporate entity as Allied Electronics and Magnetics Pvt Ltd and says it was established in 1986 as a computer storage device manufacturer. The same About Us page says the EvoFox gaming brand’s legacy traces its roots to Amkette as a pioneering force since 1984. The page does not explain the difference, so 1986 is the stated establishment year while 1984 is a separate legacy reference, not a resolved founding date. Amkette About Us

Innovation is the key.” That is Amkette’s stated approach, not independent evidence of product quality or market standing. Its stated mission is to become one of the most trusted brands in its industry and to offer products, experiences, and services that exceed expectations; this is an aspiration, not a measured result. What its current catalog can—and cannot—show
The official storefront and product collections provide a snapshot of the categories Amkette lists, not a verified account of sales, popularity, or long-term availability. For example, the latest-launches collection lists XS Flow and XS Natural wireless mouse families, while individual catalog entries may show changing stock status. For a purchase decision, the category name alone is not enough: check the keyboard or mouse connection and form factor, a hub’s port types and compatibility with the host device, a charger’s output and supported charging standards, and a gamepad’s compatibility with the intended platform. The cited pages establish product categories and examples, but do not provide a verified specification comparison for recommending particular models.
