In the U.S., download Amazon Flex on the compatible iPhone or Android phone you plan to use: search for “Amazon Flex” in the Apple App Store or Google Play, or open Amazon’s official download page on your phone and use its device-specific QR code. Amazon says the app is available only on mobile devices. Check your phone’s requirements before installing; supported platforms and rules vary by country.

The following are the minimum requirements listed in Amazon’s U.S. FAQ. Amazon can change them, so check the current U.S. FAQ and the live store listing before troubleshooting an installation problem.

Android phones in the U.S.
- Android 13 or later, with Google Play Store services enabled.
- At least 3 GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel camera, and a 4500 mAh battery.
- GPS location services and a SIM card.
- A device that meets Google security standards, is not rooted, and has Google Play Protect enabled.
Amazon also lists specific unsupported Android models in its FAQ; consult the current list rather than relying on an old copy.

iPhones in the U.S.
Your iPhone must be compatible with iOS 17 or later, and have iOS 17 or later installed. The Apple App Store listing also specifies iOS 17.0 or later.

Download and install the app in the U.S.
- Use the phone that will run Amazon Flex. The app is mobile-only; Amazon does not offer it as a desktop download.
- On iPhone, open the Apple App Store. On Android, open Google Play. Search for “Amazon Flex” and confirm you have the official listing. Google Play identifies the publisher as Amazon Mobile LLC. You can also open Amazon’s download page on your phone and scan the QR code for your device.
- Tap the option to install the app and wait for the installation to finish. For an update, search for Amazon Flex in the same official store and install any available update, as Amazon’s U.S. FAQ directs.
- Open Amazon Flex and sign in with an Amazon account or continue the sign-up process. Installing the app is not the same as completing onboarding or qualifying to deliver.
Use Amazon’s download page or the official app stores rather than third-party download sites. Do not install an APK from an unofficial mirror or disable your phone’s security protections to get the app.
If you cannot find or install Amazon Flex
- Check that your phone meets the operating-system and hardware requirements for your country.
- On Android, confirm Google Play services are enabled and that the device meets the applicable security requirements, including Google Play Protect.
- Retry through Google Play or the Apple App Store, or use the QR code on Amazon’s official download page.
- If the app remains unavailable or installation fails, check the local Amazon Flex FAQ and contact Amazon Flex support for your region.
Amazon’s U.S. FAQ provides official download routes, but does not establish one fix that resolves every installation error. The cause may depend on your device, software, or location.

For U.S. applicants, Amazon’s download page says onboarding requires living in a city where Flex operates, being at least 21, and having a valid U.S. driver’s license and Social Security number, an eligible vehicle and insurance, a smartphone, and a bank account. These are onboarding prerequisites, not requirements for downloading the app; eligibility rules differ by market. Check Amazon’s U.S. download and sign-up page for the current details.
