Already with HostMonster? Bluehost’s official HostMonster page says “Host Monster and Bluehost.com are now one” and directs existing customers to sign in at Bluehost with their current credentials. Check your account for your actual plan and renewal terms. Shopping for hosting? Compare a specific GoDaddy plan with the current Bluehost offer against your site requirements and the full cost over the term—not a legacy HostMonster price you may not have.
What “HostMonster vs GoDaddy” means now
This is not a like-for-like comparison between two clearly documented sets of new-customer plans. Bluehost’s HostMonster transition page says “Host Monster and Bluehost.com are now one,” tells existing HostMonster customers to log in at Bluehost using their current credentials, and directs new customers to Bluehost.

That page does not provide a complete schedule of legacy HostMonster plans, features, renewal prices, or account-specific migration steps. If you are an existing customer, your account and renewal notice—not a current Bluehost signup price—are the relevant sources for those details.
If you already have a HostMonster account
- Go to Bluehost’s HostMonster transition page and use its sign-in route. Bluehost says existing HostMonster customers can use their current credentials.
- Once signed in, check your account for the active plan, billing period, renewal amount, included features, and any service or migration instructions that apply to you.
- Compare the account details with what your website needs before changing plans or providers. Save any relevant billing and site information before making a change.
The transition page does not establish that all HostMonster accounts have moved identically or that customers share the same plan, price, or migration experience. Follow the instructions shown for your account or ask support to clarify account-specific terms.

If you are choosing hosting now
GoDaddy’s US listings separate general shared web hosting from managed WordPress hosting. Choose based on the type of site and how much management you want, then compare the exact tier with current Bluehost offerings if you are considering Bluehost as the new-customer route associated with HostMonster.
GoDaddy shared web hosting
GoDaddy’s US shared web-hosting listing shows Economy with one website, 25 GB NVMe storage, cPanel, a free domain, free email, and an SSL certificate free for one year. Higher tiers list more websites and storage, and their SSL terms vary. Check the current tier details and checkout terms rather than assuming that all shared plans include the same capacity or SSL duration.
GoDaddy managed WordPress
GoDaddy’s managed WordPress plans page lists Basic, Deluxe, and Ultimate. The displayed features vary by tier: NVMe storage is listed, while features such as staging, daily backups, CDN, WooCommerce, priority support, and developer tools appear on higher tiers. Confirm which features are included in the particular plan you are considering; the entry plan should not be assumed to include every listed feature.
Compare total cost, not just the first displayed price
Promotional hosting prices depend on the offer and initial term. GoDaddy’s listings show term-based offers, while Bluehost’s pricing page lists introductory and renewal rates for new-customer plans. A Bluehost new-customer rate is not proof of what a legacy HostMonster customer pays.

- Record the upfront price and the length of the initial term.
- Find the renewal price and billing period that follow the offer.
- Check whether the domain, email, SSL, backups, or other items are included only for a limited period or cost extra later.
- Compare the total amount due over the same commitment period, not one provider’s promotional monthly figure against another provider’s renewal rate.
Verify the offer and add-ons at checkout. Plan names, prices, included features, and transition details can change.

- Existing HostMonster customer: Start at Bluehost using the transition page’s login route, then make a decision using your own account’s service and renewal details.
- New buyer who wants shared hosting: Compare GoDaddy’s shared tier capacity and inclusions with current Bluehost plans, based on how many sites you need and what you will pay across the initial and renewal terms.
- New buyer building on WordPress: Compare GoDaddy’s managed WordPress tiers with the alternative plans you are considering, focusing on the specific management and backup features included at each tier.
There is no supported universal winner on speed or reliability here: the official pages do not provide an independent head-to-head performance statistic, and no comparative performance test is available. Choose on account-specific terms, site requirements, included features, and total cost.
