AllClear Traveller Multi-Trip is designed for people taking several journeys within a chosen region during a 12-month policy period. It allows unlimited trips, but not unlimited time away: the product has individual trip-duration limits and a cap of 183 covered travel days across the policy year. Whether it is a good fit—or costs less than buying separate policies—depends on your itinerary, medical screening, selected cover and quote.
What the policy offers
AllClear markets three annual multi-trip levels: Gold, Gold Plus and Platinum. Its current product page lists these headline limits per person, per trip. The actual benefits available to you depend on the selected policy, whether the benefit is included, and the wording and schedule issued with your cover.

| Cover level | Emergency medical and repatriation | Cancellation |
|---|---|---|
| Gold | £10 million | £2,000 |
| Gold Plus | £15 million | Up to £15,000 |
| Platinum | Unlimited | Up to £25,000 |
These are AllClear’s headline product figures, not independent findings about how the cover compares with other insurers. The available information does not establish detailed baggage, delay, liability, excess or other sub-limits across all levels; compare those in the quote documents and policy wording rather than inferring them from the headline ceilings. AllClear’s annual multi-trip product page provides its current level overview.

Unlimited trips means there is no stated cap on the number of trips within the selected region; it does not remove the maximum length of each trip or the annual cap. AllClear describes cover for up to 183 travel days across the policy year. Every destination must fall within the region selected for the policy. Check the region against the full itinerary, including stopovers where relevant, before buying.

Per-trip duration
The located AllClear Options booklet states a usual maximum of 45 days for an annual multi-trip holiday. It sets a 35-day maximum for travellers aged 71 or older travelling to the USA, Canada, Mexico or the Caribbean. The booklet also describes paid extensions to 50 or 55 days in specified age and destination cases. Because this booklet is branded AllClear Options rather than Traveller, confirm the applicable limit and any extension in the Traveller-branded wording and your schedule before relying on it. Medical conditions, age and eligibility
AllClear says it considers more than 1,300 pre-existing medical conditions, subject to medical screening. That does not mean every condition or applicant will be accepted. Disclose the requested medical history fully and check that each condition is accepted in writing. The policy wording says a condition is covered only when it has been disclosed and accepted; review the schedule and tell the insurer if your health changes.

- ESSENTIAL Car Auto Insurance Registration BLACK Document Wallet Holders 2 Pieces
AllClear says there is no single maximum age limit for its annual multi-trip product. That is not a guarantee of eligibility: destination, medical history and other underwriting factors can affect whether a quote is offered and on what terms. Price is also individualized, so no general premium or claim of savings can be established without a quote.
What to check for extras and cancellation
- Cruises: The located Options booklet says cruise cover requires Gold Plus or Platinum and an additional cruise premium; Gold does not offer cruise cover. Confirm these terms against the Traveller wording before purchase.
- Winter sports: The booklet says this requires an additional premium. Make sure the activity and trip are covered by the option you buy.
- Business travel: The booklet excludes business trips, so do not assume an annual leisure policy covers work travel.
- Cancellation start date: The booklet says annual cancellation cover begins when the trip is booked or the policy begins, whichever is later. AllClear’s FAQ also says cancellation cover does not begin until the policy starts. Check the exact wording and schedule, and remember that cancellation cover applies only to insured reasons.
AllClear’s product page also refers to options such as gadget and natural-disaster cover. Check whether an option is available for your chosen level and region, what it costs, and what exclusions or limits apply; the headline cover figures alone do not answer those questions.

Who may find annual multi-trip cover useful?
This format may suit someone expecting several trips during the policy year, provided the destinations, duration, activities and accepted medical conditions fit the contract. It can avoid arranging a new policy for each journey. It is not automatically cheaper: the outcome depends on your personal quote and the cost and terms of the separate-trip alternatives you would otherwise buy.
Before purchasing, compare the total quote and excess with suitable alternatives, not just the medical and cancellation ceilings. Make sure the annual policy’s region and time limits match your plans and that any required extras are included.
Quick Recap
Before you buy: a practical checklist
- List every planned destination and confirm each falls within the selected region.
- Check both the maximum duration of each trip and the annual travel-day allowance against your itinerary.
- Complete medical screening accurately, obtain written acceptance of disclosed conditions and check the issued schedule.
- Compare the quote, excess, cancellation ceiling and detailed benefit limits in the policy documents.
- Add any required cruise or winter-sports cover, and confirm whether the policy covers the activities you plan.
- Check when cancellation cover starts in your contract and whether the policy’s covered reasons meet your needs.
