Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 launched on August 25, 2026, and supports squads of up to four players. No verified cheat codes or evidence-backed best weapon builds are established by the official sources cited here. The reliable approach is to coordinate class abilities, tune weapons to the encounter, and check patch notes before relying on heat-weapon or perk interactions.
Are there cheats for Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2?
No cheat codes are verified in the official game information and updates linked here. Avoid lists that claim specific button sequences, unlock codes, or guaranteed exploits unless they identify a reproducible method and the game version it works on. For practical advantages, use the game’s documented class abilities, weapon customization, and squad coordination instead.

What should a fireteam focus on?
The game is built around four-player co-op and strategic class composition. Its official Steam description advises players to coordinate, use each class’s abilities, and adapt as encounters escalate. That supports a role-coverage approach, not a universal “best team” formula: discuss who will handle each encounter’s demands, then adjust if the squad is struggling. The official sources do not establish a single optimal class lineup.

Before a mission, make sure everyone knows which abilities they can contribute and when the team plans to use them. The official site describes five unique classes and a customizable Specialist endgame class; Steam says the Specialist can combine major and minor abilities from available classes. That flexibility gives experienced players room to tailor a role, but the sources do not publish a definitive Specialist setup.
#1 Best Overall
- Play a pivotal role in the epic events that occur 23 years after the original alien Trilogy as a colonial Marine. Stunning visuals, iconic enemies, realistic environments, powerful weapons, and an eerie soundscape fill out new storylines.
- Face overwhelming odds against over 20 enemy types. Each Designed with their own intelligence to ambush and outsmart Marines. Utilize cover and master team strategy to survive extraterrestrial threats as they overrun your Fire team from every angle.
- Choose from five unique classes - gunner, demolisher, technician, Doc and Recon - each with their own special abilities and character perks. Utilize an extensive arsenal of 30+ weapons and 70+ mods/attachments in your effort to eradicate the alien threat.
Use cross-platform play deliberately
The official site lists cross-platform co-op and cross-platform voice chat, and the Steam launch announcement confirms crossplay with console players. Check your platform and regional storefront details when arranging a squad; the available sources do not specify every platform-specific party or matchmaking step.
How to think about weapon choices
There is no verified official damage chart or best-in-slot weapon ranking in the cited material. Instead of treating a weapon name as a guaranteed answer, compare it against the encounter and your squad’s needs.
- Handling and fire mode: Choose a mode that suits the range and pace at which you can reliably hit targets.
- Customization: The official site identifies Augments and unique Weapon Traits as ways to tailor weapons; the Steam description also mentions pyro and electric ammo.
- Team fit: Consider how your weapon and class abilities complement the other players rather than judging a build in isolation.
- Patch context: Treat heat-weapon interactions, ammo behavior, attachments, and perk effects as version-sensitive.
These are decision criteria, not a claim that one combination has been tested to outperform another. If you rely on community testing, look for a dated source that names the game version and explains how the comparison was made.

Daybreak’s September 29, 2026 Hotfix #3 notes describe several relevant changes and caveats. They say the hotfix fixed a replication bug that could prevent weapons from dealing damage and an issue with incorrect starting ammo from attachments and perks. The same notes listed a known issue in which rapidly activating fire could overheat the EVI-87 Zvezda Plasma Rifle without firing, and said Jackpot was temporarily changed to have no effect on heat weapons while longer-term changes were tested. These are notes from that dated hotfix, not confirmation that the issue or temporary perk behavior remains in the latest build.
Rank #2
- THE ULTIMATE HUNT: Play a pivotal role in the epic events that occur 23 years after the original Alien trilogy as a Colonial Marine stationed aboard the UAS Endeavor, battling terrifying Xenomorph threats. Stunning visuals, iconic enemies, realistic environments, powerful weapons, futuristic equipment, and an eerie soundscape, combined with new storylines in a series of replayable campaigns, expand upon the story from the blockbuster films.
- SURVIVE THE HIVE: Face overwhelming odds against over 20 enemy types, including 11 different Xenomorphs along the evolutionary scale from Facehuggers to Praetorians, each designed with their own intelligence to ambush, outsmart and eviscerate vulnerable marines. Utilize cover and master team strategy to survive extraterrestrial threats as they overrun your fireteam from every angle, swarm through doors and vents, scramble across walls and ceilings, and strike from darkness with uncanny ferocity.
- CUSTOMIZE YOUR FIRETEAM: Choose from five unique classes - Gunner, Demolisher, Technician, Doc and Recon - each with their own special abilities and character perks. Utilize an extensive arsenal of 30+ weapons and 70+ mods/attachments in your effort to eradicate the Alien threat. An innovative Perk Board modifies and improves your abilities, while a unique Challenge Card system alters the approach to each Campaign mission, offering a new experience with every playthrough.
For advice involving Zvezda, heat weapons, Jackpot, attachments, or ammo, check the September 29 hotfix notes alongside newer updates. The official Steam announcements also list a September 17 patch covering performance, ammo-box and med-kit pickup issues, mission progression blockers, and Horde Mode rewards after wave 50. Dated updates matter because a once-valid tip may stop working after a patch.
