To start The One Who Hears the Voice in Aion 2, meet the reported progression gates, then use the Journal’s Ascension tab to teleport to Dream Crossroad. The quest is associated with Asahr and continues through a combat trial in Dream Remnants and a dream sequence. The Journal is important: walkthroughs say there is no ordinary world-map route to the starting area.
Before you start: check level and story progression
Quest data lists level 10 as the unlock level and level 22 as the recommended level. These fields indicate different things: level 10 is the database’s minimum unlock value, while level 22 is its suggested level. Two walkthroughs additionally report that the Ascension Gauge below the minimap must be full and that you must reach the main-story quest Daeva in a Dream. Those progression gates may explain why the quest remains unavailable after you reach the listed minimum level. Requirements can vary with faction, progression, or client version.

If the quest is not available, check your Ascension Gauge and story journal before assuming your character level is the only requirement. Confirm availability in your current Journal, since the reported gates are guide-based and quest details can change.
How to start the quest at Dream Crossroad
- Press J to open the Journal.
- Select the Ascension tab and choose The One Who Hears the Voice.
- Use the quest’s Teleport control. Walkthroughs say it takes you to Dream Crossroad, where Asahr waits beside a large mirror.
- Speak to Asahr to begin the trial.
Complete the Dream Remnants trial
After speaking to Asahr, enter Dream Remnants and obtain the Dream of Willpower Fragment. Quest-data summaries confirm the area and fragment objective. The more detailed enemy sequence below comes from a walkthrough, rather than independent confirmation in the quest records:

What is confirmed—and what may differ
Quest records associate this Ascension quest with Asahr and Dream Crossroad, and summarize its stages as speaking to Asahr, entering Dream Remnants, and entering Dream of Torment. Separate Elyos and Asmodian records exist, so do not assume every step or reward is identical across factions.
