For legitimate improvement, set Aimlabs to match your game, use Benchmarks to find a weak area, practise a task that targets it, and review your results over time. Aim trainers can help you practise selected mechanics, but they do not replace positioning, movement, game sense, or decision-making.
Can Aimlabs cheats improve your aim?
No. Cheats are not a training method, and this guide does not cover how to obtain or hide them. Aimlabs’ official pages reviewed here do not establish whether a particular cheat is detected or what penalties might apply, so claims about detection or bans would be speculative. The useful alternative is focused practice: identify a skill to work on, practise it under settings relevant to your game, and check whether your results change.

Set up Aimlabs for the game you play
Aimlabs’ first-session guide recommends choosing a game profile, setting the field of view (FOV), selecting Mouse or Controller, and entering the sensitivity you use in the game. Matching these settings makes practice more relevant to your usual perspective and input. The guide describes sensitivity conversion as part of the settings workflow.
- Choose the game profile and FOV: use the game and perspective you want to practise for.
- Select your input device: choose Mouse or Controller to match how you play.
- Set sensitivity: enter the in-game value, using the conversion options in settings if needed.
- Adjust visibility and realism: crosshair, audio, graphics, and visual-style controls can make a session clearer or closer to your game. Aimlabs notes that high contrast can make targets easier to track; hiding the gun model may make practice less realistic if your game does not offer that view.
These are options, not universal settings prescriptions. Aim for a setup that is both readable and relevant to the game you play.

Find your weak skill instead of grinding randomly
Use Benchmarks to get a more structured starting point. Aimlabs’ onboarding guide recommends using tasks or playlists and Benchmarks to assess strengths and weaknesses. Its examples include micro flicking, reactive tracking, and speed switching. The June 20, 2025 Benchmarks announcement groups the main categories as tapping, tracking, and switching.
That announcement described Entry, Intermediate, and Elite tiers, with 24 tasks in each tier; it also said subcategory top scores count toward ranking. Benchmark seasons can change, so check the current in-app structure rather than assuming those counts still apply. Treat the results as a way to choose what to practise, not as a complete measure of how well you will perform in matches.

Choose a task or routine for the skill you want to practise
Aimlabs’ Aim Basics hub, updated July 16, 2026, includes general and game-specific routines. Its categories provide a practical way to match practice to a weakness:

| Skill | What to practise | Aimlabs examples and fit |
|---|---|---|
| Tapping or flicking | Moving quickly and accurately to individual targets. | Flicking and micro-focused routines; the Aim Basics page lists VALORANT routines for flicking and micros. |
| Tracking | Keeping your aim on a moving target, including reactive tracking. | The Aim Basics page lists Overwatch 2 routines for precise and reactive tracking, as well as smoothness practice. |
| Target switching | Moving between targets efficiently. | Look for switching practice; Aimlabs’ Benchmarks include switching as a main category, and the page lists Overwatch 2 routines that include switching. |
| Game-specific mechanics | Practising aim in scenarios closer to the game you play. | The Aim Basics page lists Counter-Strike 2 routines involving micro-corrections, flicking, smoothness, and reactions to strafing enemies. |
Availability and playlist contents can change, so check the current hub or in-app list. Aimlabs also describes Training Programs as curated playlists for each game or aim category in its first-session guide. A curated or game-specific routine is not proven to be universally better than self-selected practice; choose based on whether it targets the weakness you identified.

Keep sessions focused and review your progress
Aimlabs’ training-regimen guide recommends purposeful, balanced practice and adjusting a routine based on how you respond. It cautions against brute-force marathon sessions and suggests reflecting after a few sessions. The article offers 15 minutes a day as an example, not a scientifically established optimum; it also suggests trying three or four days a week if daily practice is producing diminishing results.
- Start with a benchmark or a clear skill goal. Pick the weakest relevant subcategory rather than trying to improve everything at once.
- Choose a matching task or playlist. Use tapping or flicking for target acquisition, tracking for moving-target control, or switching for moving between targets.
- Practise in manageable sessions. Keep the session focused and sustainable instead of adding time without a specific purpose.
- Reassess after several sessions. Review your task or benchmark results, then continue, adjust the difficulty, or target another weakness.
Better scores in an aim trainer are not a guarantee of better match performance. Aimlabs’ homepage advertises improvement claims, including “49% faster” for members using Sensitivity Finder 2.0, but the page does not state the study design, population, comparator, or measurement date. Treat such figures as Aimlabs marketing, not independent guarantees.

Do you need special gear?
No purchase is established as necessary for aim improvement. If you play with a mouse, Aimlabs lets you configure mouse sensitivity, but the available guidance does not show that buying a new mouse improves aim. Use the input device you normally play with and make the settings relevant to your game before considering hardware.
