There is no universal winner. A neocloud may suit a workload centered on renting GPU compute; AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud may fit better when the surrounding cloud services and your organization’s existing setup are important. Choose by comparing the exact GPU configuration, measured performance, total cost, availability, and operational fit—not by provider category or a headline hourly rate.
What is a neocloud?
A neocloud is a cloud provider built specifically for GPU compute and AI workloads, rather than general-purpose enterprise applications, according to Microsoft for Startups. Microsoft names CoreWeave, Crusoe, Lambda, and Nebius as examples. NVIDIA also describes a broader group of cloud providers offering its accelerated-computing platform through its cloud partner ecosystem.

The label is useful shorthand, not a specification. It does not guarantee a particular GPU, price, region, service level, or software experience. AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud are general-purpose hyperscalers that also offer GPU compute; whether one fits better depends on the full workload and the services around it.

| Option | What the available evidence establishes | What to verify for your workload |
|---|---|---|
| Neoclouds | Providers such as CoreWeave, Crusoe, Lambda, and Nebius focus on GPU compute and AI workloads. NVIDIA lists a wider cloud-provider ecosystem. | Exact GPU and host configuration, region and capacity, billing terms, performance, support, and integration with your data and operations. |
| AWS | AWS documents accelerated instance specifications and identifies P5 instances with NVIDIA H100 GPUs, and P5e/P5en with H200 GPUs for deep learning and HPC workloads. Its documentation also describes preconfigured Deep Learning AMIs for GPU instances. | Exact instance configuration and current orderability, plus the measured workload result, total cost, and operational fit. |
| Azure | Current GPU catalog, region, and pricing details are not established by the sources cited here. | Check official current SKU specifications, availability, quota, network and storage configuration, billing, and transfer charges. |
| Google Cloud | Current GPU catalog, region, and pricing details are not established by the sources cited here. | Check official current SKU specifications, availability, quota, network and storage configuration, billing, and transfer charges. |
AWS’s accelerated instance specifications show why a GPU’s model name alone is insufficient: configurations can differ in GPU count and memory, networking, storage, and supported capabilities. AWS’s P5 page also claims up to four times the performance of previous-generation GPU-based EC2 instances and up to 40% lower model-training costs. Those are AWS’s own claims, not independent comparisons with neoclouds, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Compare candidates against the workload
1. Specify the configuration you need
Write down the accelerator model and count, GPU memory, interconnect, host CPU and RAM, local storage, and whether the job runs on one node or across a distributed cluster. Then compare configurations that can actually be provisioned at the required scale. Two instances described with the same GPU generation may still have materially different memory, network, or storage characteristics.
2. Measure useful performance at your target scale
For training, compare time to train or useful tokens per second at the scale you intend to run. For inference, compare throughput at an agreed latency and quality target. Keep the model, framework, precision, batch size, software stack, and network topology consistent; otherwise, the results may reflect different test setups rather than a meaningful provider difference.

- 【Expandable Storage】This Mini Computer has pre-installed 32GB DDR5-5200MT/s RAM and 1TB M.2 2280 PCIe4.0 SSD. However, you could expand the DDR5 RAM up to 64GB and 2TB for the SSD. There is another M.2 2280 PCIe4.0 slot available for expanding the storage. Without worrying about lack of capacity, you can run software smoothly, watch and storage large-scale movies, photos without any stress.
NVIDIA’s Exemplar Cloud initiative uses standardized recipes for cloud-provider AI performance benchmarking. That is a useful model for designing an apples-to-apples test, but it is not proof that every provider has comparable published results.
3. Calculate the whole bill
Compare the actual billing mode and expected run duration, not just the advertised GPU-hour price. Account for CPU and memory, storage, data transfer or egress, idle time, support, orchestration, and any commitment. Nebius lists GPU rates as effective October 1, 2026, while CoreWeave publishes separate on-demand and spot entries on its pricing page and pricing page, respectively. Rates and terms can change; check the exact GPU, instance, region, duration, and billing option when you price the workload. These listings do not establish an evergreen “cheapest cloud.”

4. Confirm capacity, region, and quota
Check that the exact SKU is orderable in the region you need, that your account can obtain the required quota, and that the provider can supply the cluster size and timeframe your job requires. A catalog listing or public announcement does not confirm capacity for your account or location.
For example, NVIDIA announced that “CoreWeave launches the first NVIDIA GB200 NVL72-cloud based instances to power the next era of AI reasoning.” That historical launch announcement is not evidence that GB200 capacity is available now in a particular region.

5. Evaluate the path from data to production
Consider how each option fits your data location, identity and access controls, security and compliance needs, observability, schedulers, support process, and eventual exit or migration. Existing hyperscaler services and organizational setup may make a hyperscaler the more practical choice; a focused GPU cloud may suit a team prioritizing GPU capacity. Neither outcome follows from the provider label alone, so validate the requirements with each candidate.

- Define a representative job. Record model, dataset location, GPU count, node count, software stack, expected duration, and latency or training target.
- Shortlist by configuration and geography. Exclude options that cannot confirm the required GPU, topology, region, quota, or timeframe.
- Run the same workload where practical. Keep test settings consistent and record performance alongside the full configuration.
- Price the complete run. Include compute, CPU and memory, storage, transfer, idle time, support, orchestration, and commitments under the billing mode you would actually use.
- Assess operational fit. Check access controls, data movement, monitoring, support, and how you would move or stop the workload.
- Choose on evidence for this job. Prefer the option that meets the performance, cost, availability, and operations requirements together, rather than one that wins only on a GPU label or advertised rate.
What the available comparisons cannot establish
The cited material does not provide current Azure and Google Cloud GPU catalogs or comparable pricing details, nor a matched independent benchmark across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, CoreWeave, and Nebius. It therefore cannot support a provider ranking or a claim that a particular cloud is generally faster or cheaper. Use each provider’s current official catalog and pricing tools to check the exact configuration and charges before making a decision.

- Low airflow resistance design uses large front and rear ventilation openings to improve airflow throughput.

AWS’s GPU instance getting-started documentation describes Deep Learning AMIs with required software preconfigured. That can matter to a team evaluating setup workflows, but by itself it does not establish a better end-to-end experience than another provider.
