Heroes of Esperia is AFK Arena’s limited-time PvP league event: win matches to earn trophies, climb leagues, and qualify for season rewards. This guide explains the event loop, formations, the dated rules and rewards reported by available sources, and what remains unverified about playing AFK Arena on PC. Those sources do not establish an official PC client or a supported PC setup method, so no installation steps can be confirmed.
What is Heroes of Esperia?
Heroes of Esperia is a limited PvP competition in which players earn trophies by winning matches and progress through Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, Master, and Legend. The 2021 third-party guide describes a competition spanning players across servers, with higher leagues corresponding to better rewards. How league progress works
The 2021 guide says trophies determine league standing and that new-season initial placement is based on current combat ratings. It also describes Master players as able to challenge Legend players, with promotion possible after a win, and Legend victories as direct ranking swaps. These are historical descriptions, not confirmation of the live season’s exact promotion rules.
How matches and formations work
As players advance, matches require more team formations. The guide says each formation must contain at least one hero and that the player with more victorious teams wins. An empty formation automatically loses; if the battle timer expires, the defender wins.

The source does not specify Master’s formation count, so it should not be inferred from the neighboring league values. Since the guide is from 2021, verify formation requirements in-game before arranging teams.
What hero rules does the older guide describe?
The 2021 guide describes a martial-rating system that normalizes some hero attributes while retaining certain progression. Its listed rules are useful context, but not a reliable substitute for the live event’s rules:

- Ascension tiers are retained. Heroes start at level 240, with levels potentially increasing based on Resonating Crystal level.
- Gear is set to Mythic T1 with faction bonuses and no enhancements, except for heroes already wearing Mythic T3 gear.
- Signature Items, Elder Tree attributes, Oak Inn furniture effects, and Eternal Engravings are retained; artifact effects are not.
- A Dimensional hero and its linked hero cannot be used at the same time, even in separate teams.
Do not make investment decisions or lock in formations based only on these dated details. Check the event rules shown in your current game.
Battle effects can change by season
The 2021 guide also lists class-based bonuses under a battle effect called Star Convergence, with effects for Warriors, Tanks, Rangers, Mages, and Supports. Those values are version-sensitive. AFK Global’s June 29, 2026 patch notes instead name Horn of Inspiration for the reported July 2026 season, so do not assume Star Convergence applies now. AFK Global Team’s version 1.197 patch notes identify the effect for that season.

Practical tactics from the published guide
The following are recommendations from the 2021 guide, not independently tested guarantees or confirmed optimal tactics for the current season:
- Use the daily free tickets so available matches are not left unused.
- When choosing an opponent, look for a substantially lower power rating or incomplete formations, where the live matchmaking screen gives you that information.
- Set defensive formations early. The guide recommends putting the two strongest teams in the first two positions, based on its stated first-to-two-wins format.
- Consider holding extra ticket purchases for a late-season ranking push, while allowing for the possibility that rankings shift near the end.
Reassess these choices against the current match format, opponent information, and season rules rather than treating the old guide’s advice as a guaranteed route to promotion.

Rewards and season dates: what is actually documented?
The 2021 guide says normal season-end rewards depend on the highest league reached and include Hero Soulstones and Honor Experience. It also lists historical League Point thresholds for frame unlocks and temporary placement medals:

AFK Global Team’s version 1.197 patch notes, published June 29, 2026, say that patch was released June 30 and report a Heroes of Esperia season beginning July 1, 2026. They name Horn of Inspiration, say, “The season lasts for 90 days,” and mention new avatar frames and achievement sticker rewards. These dates and duration describe the reported season; they do not establish that the event is still running on October 9, 2026.
For historical context, AFK Global’s version 1.149 notes from August 26, 2024 report a season beginning August 28, a Stage 11-40 requirement, and item rewards for Diamond I and above. That old eligibility threshold should not be treated as current. Read the version 1.149 patch notes.
Can you play AFK Arena on PC?
The available sources do not verify an official PC client, a supported emulator, or a current official PC setup procedure. That means this guide cannot confirm a legitimate installation path or make compatibility claims. It also does not prove that no PC method exists; it leaves the question unresolved. Before installing through any workaround, consult current official AFK Arena platform information. Do not assume an emulator or other method is officially supported.
