What Astar does on a team
Astar supports allies in several ways at once: she restores health, can turn excess healing into Energy, reduces incoming damage, and contributes area damage. That mix lets her assist a primary healer while adding offensive utility. Her Energy generation is especially central to BlueStacks’ explanation of her role.

BlueStacks highlights her for Campaign and King’s Tower, where Life Sparks can help allies gain Energy as she heals. These are recommendations from that guide, not proof of current best-in-slot or competitive-meta status. The examined sources do not settle how she compares with other supports in current versions of every mode.
How Astar’s abilities work
Life Sparks
Astar’s ultimate restores 20% of her maximum health, then moves her above the densest area of nearby allies and enemies. While active, it heals nearby allies for 150% of her Attack Rating every 0.5 seconds and makes Astar invincible. Healing beyond an ally’s maximum health converts into Energy, subject to a per-use cap: the base description gives a maximum of 20 Energy per target, rising to 30 at the listed level-3 upgrade. These are ability figures reported by the guides, not real-world statistics.

Lantern’s Flame
Astar releases five fireballs, each dealing 220% damage. The listed upgrades increase their damage to 260% and then 300%, followed by an upgrade that raises the number of fireballs to seven. When a fireball hits an enemy carrying a Flame Seed, it triggers the seed’s explosion without consuming the seed.
Flame Seeds
This ability deals 250% damage to one target and plants a seed. The seed deals 200% damage to a small area every 1.5 seconds. When the target dies or is marked again, it explodes for 280% area damage and heals allies within its radius for 12% of their maximum health. Listed upgrades increase the explosion’s damage and reduce enemies’ Attack Rating.

Aura of Fire
As Astar channels her lantern, allies take 40% less damage. When the effect ends, they receive shields lasting six seconds; shield value is tied to the damage prevented, with a minimum tied to Astar’s Attack Rating. Astar is immune to control while channeling. Upgrades extend shield duration and increase damage reduction.
Some skill thresholds and the wording of later upgrades differ between the BlueStacks guide and AFK Global’s character database. Check the ability descriptions in your game version rather than combining upgrade thresholds from different references.

Team synergies named in the BlueStacks guide
BlueStacks discusses Izold, Zolrath, and Eironn as possible composition partners. Its broader team framing is that Astar brings healing, Energy generation, and damage while supporting a primary healer. Treat the named pairings as the guide’s suggestions rather than confirmation of current competitive consensus; the sources do not establish that these are her strongest partners today.

AFK Global lists ratings of S+ Event, A Event, B Boss, A Hunt, S Tower, and D Boss. Because the page repeats mode labels and provides no game version or rating date, these entries are not a reliable up-to-date tier list. Use them only as database entries, not as a current verdict on Astar’s performance.
Her story is separate from her combat role. BlueStacks connects Astar’s story with Talene and the Hypogeans; AFK Global describes her as a Phoenix Flower-born Wilder who follows Talene after seeing her destroy the Hypogeans.
