Who is Alaro in AFK Arena?
AFK Global lists Alaro as an Ascended Mauler hero with Agility as his type and Support as his class, assigning him the role of Buffer. A second character guide agrees on those classifications. AFK Arena’s official site describes the game as a fantasy RPG built around heroes and factions: AFK Arena.

What do Alaro’s skills do?
The mechanics below reflect third-party database descriptions, not independently verified live-game behavior. Their triggers and conditions matter: they describe particular effects rather than a guarantee that Alaro will stop an enemy’s skills or control a specific opponent.
Unwanted Surprises
Alaro attacks one enemy with poison daggers in three hits, each listed as dealing 230% of his Attack Rating. For the next 15 seconds, whenever that enemy repeatedly uses a non-passive skill, it loses health and its Attack Rating is reduced by 12%. The Attack Rating reduction can stack up to five times.

Incognito Mode
Alaro gathers intelligence on opponents, then returns to the backline to pass it to allies. The guide describes allies gaining energy when they damage marked enemies. It also lists duration and critical-hit-block reductions that increase at higher skill levels.
Dummy Double
At the start of battle, Alaro leaves a dummy at his original position and goes incognito. During that state, he is described as immune to damage and control effects. If the dummy is destroyed, it deals area damage and stuns nearby enemies.
Snooping Ambush
Alaro targets the enemy with the highest Attack Rating, deals damage, and removes most of that target’s buffs. He then slows the target and compares Attack Rating records to determine the Haste reduction.

What do Alaro’s signature item, furniture, and engraving add?

Mauler Warhorn signature item
The Mauler Warhorn is described as restoring health to nearby allies and granting them Dodge. Higher signature-item levels strengthen the effects; higher levels also add debuffs to nearby enemies.

Intelligence Analysis furniture
Intelligence Analysis grants allied Haste when allies successfully control enemies whose intelligence Alaro has stolen. The listed 9/9 furniture effect adds Insight.
Engraving
- E30: Adds a team shield when Dummy Double’s dummy is destroyed.
- E60: Increases the damage taken by a slowed target.
- E80: The guide lists an effect for specified game modes; it does not support treating that effect as universal.
What is Alaro’s story?
Alaro is portrayed as an outcast from the Dark Forest who longs to explore the desert. After settling in Canter, he meets Skriath and sees the aftermath of tribal conflict. He learns that Skriath helped evacuate residents and joins the Mauler scouts. His story uses a playful, self-deprecating voice while returning to themes of belonging and prejudice.
