Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsTwo products being marketed as affordable smart glasses illustrate different priorities: EYDOLOGY’s Smart 06 lists a 20MP Sony camera, while a separate Kentfaith listing describes camera glasses with electrochromic, tint-changing lenses. The available listings do not prove these are the exact two products named in a formal launch announcement, so treat the specifications and prices below as seller claims captured on October 13, 2026—not independent test results or confirmed launch pricing.
What is actually available
The strongest evidence is for two retailer-listed configurations rather than a single, jointly announced launch. EYDOLOGY’s Smart 06 collection page gives detailed camera and wearable specifications. Kentfaith’s special-offers page lists a different camera-glasses configuration with adjustable tint. Neither page supplies an independent image-quality test, laboratory battery result or confirmation that the products were launched together.

| Product listing | Camera and video | Lens behavior | Other listed features | Displayed price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| EYDOLOGY Smart 06 20MP | 20MP Sony IMX388D; 4000×3000 photos; 2080×1568 video at 30fps; gyroscope stabilization | Prescription-lens compatible; tint behavior not stated | 4GB storage, open-ear audio, hands-free AI access, translation in 139 languages, IPX4 resistance | $241 on the retailer page viewed October 13, 2026 |
| Kentfaith adjustable-tint camera glasses | 8MP Sony camera; 1080p recording; electronic stabilization | Four tint levels with electrochromic adjustment | Wi-Fi transfer and 32GB storage | $139.99 discounted price on the retailer page viewed October 13, 2026 |
Kentfaith also shows a separate 13MP Sony camera-glasses model at a displayed discounted price of $129.99. That is a different configuration, so its specifications should not be merged with the 8MP adjustable-tint model.

“20MP Sony camera” identifies the sensor resolution, not the final quality of photos or video. The Smart 06 listing specifies 4000×3000-pixel stills and 2080×1568 video at 30 frames per second, plus gyroscope stabilization. It does not establish low-light performance, dynamic range, autofocus behavior, audio quality or how well stabilization works while walking.

Storage and transfer
The seller lists 4GB of onboard storage. The page does not state recording capacity in minutes, a maximum clip length, transfer speed or whether a phone app is required. Those omissions matter if you intend to record long outings rather than short clips.
Wearability and resistance
Prescription-lens compatibility, open-ear audio and an IPX4 resistance rating are listed. IPX4 indicates resistance to water splashes, not immersion or protection from dust. Fit, frame dimensions, privacy indicators and recording controls are not established by the listing.
How tint-shifting glasses work
The Kentfaith model is described as using electrochromic lenses with four tint levels. Electrochromic lenses change their optical state electronically instead of relying on a conventional flip-down sun shield. The listing does not state the switching time, light-transmission percentages, outdoor brightness performance, prescription support or battery impact of changing tint.

Why “adjustable tint” is not one universal feature
Another announced product, Snap’s SPECS, also uses electrochromic lenses and is described as switching from clear to tinted in 10 seconds. Snap positions SPECS as a standalone augmented-reality computer rather than ordinary camera glasses. It has a $2,195 announced price, a $200 refundable deposit and expected fall 2026 shipping in the United States, United Kingdom and France. Its announced specifications include a 51-degree field of view, removable prescription inserts, up to four hours of mixed-use battery life and a charging case supplying four additional charges. Those figures are company announcements, not independent measurements, and SPECS is not an obvious affordable alternative to the retailer listings.
A future 20MP competitor is not shipping yet
8ightworks describes its 8ight Pro as camera-first glasses with a 20MP Sony sensor, native 4K video, a 117-degree field of view, electronic image stabilization, dual microphones and an app for reviewing and sharing footage. The company says a Kickstarter campaign is planned for late 2026, followed by a launch in early 2027.
In a company reply about limits, 8ightworks said it was targeting more than 40 minutes of continuous 1080p60 recording and roughly three-minute 4K30 clips. These are targets still being finalized through testing, not verified shipping results. Calling 8ight Pro a currently available alternative would therefore be premature.

How to compare the two retailer listings
- Confirm the exact model. Retail pages contain multiple camera resolutions and prices; check the model name and configuration before ordering.
- Check what is actually in the box. Look for charging hardware, a phone app, storage access and any prescription-lens parts.
- Ask about recording limits. Neither listing establishes battery life, maximum clip duration or thermal behavior.
- Review lens requirements. Smart 06 is described as prescription-compatible; the Kentfaith adjustable-tint page does not establish prescription support.
- Examine privacy controls. Verify whether a visible recording light, physical control or app indicator is provided before using camera glasses around other people.
- Recheck price and shipping. The displayed $241 and $139.99 figures are seller-page snapshots from October 13, 2026, not guaranteed launch prices or permanent discounts.
Category context: affordable does not mean identical
Other 2026 announcements show how widely the category varies. VONDER describes prescription-ready intelligent eyewear without a camera or display, weighing under 30 grams and starting at $299, with preorders opening September 28 and shipping planned for November. Meta says its Meta Adventurer with a plug-in case starts at $249 and is scheduled to go on sale October 23 in markets where Meta Glasses are sold; the same announcement gives Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 a 12MP camera, 3K Ultra HD video and a $449 starting price. These products provide market context, but they do not confirm the identities of the two retailer listings discussed here.

What buyers should verify before paying
- Whether the seller is shipping the advertised configuration to your country and when.
- Return coverage for fit, lens defects and camera failures.
- Actual battery runtime during camera recording, not only standby time.
- Phone compatibility, Wi-Fi transfer requirements and available storage after system files.
- Whether prescription lenses can be fitted by an optician and whether tint levels remain usable indoors.
- How recording is signaled and how files are deleted or reset.
The practical distinction is straightforward: Smart 06 emphasizes a higher-resolution listed camera and built-in features, while Kentfaith’s separate 8MP model emphasizes electronically adjustable tint at a lower displayed price. Until manufacturers or independent reviewers verify full test data, treat both as promising specifications to confirm—not proof that either delivers flagship image quality or all-day recording.
