Cash App’s published instructions do not list every information field or show Android-specific screenshots. If the screen labels differ, use the current Profile and linked-bank controls and follow the prompts. Cash App’s card page provides the published route.
Which debit cards meet Cash App’s stated conditions?
Cash App’s U.S. Terms of Service describe an eligible external debit card as valid, issued by a U.S. financial institution, bearing a Visa, Mastercard, or Discover logo, and belonging to an authorized user. These are the terms’ conditions, not a guarantee that every card meeting them will be accepted. Check the Cash App U.S. Terms of Service for the applicable terms.

What you can do after linking the card
A linked debit card can be used to add money to your Cash App balance. Cash App also says sending money from a linked debit card is free for personal accounts; see its send-money information.
A debit card and a Cash App Card are different
You are linking the debit card you already have from a financial institution. A Cash App Card is a separate card that Cash App describes as something users can order; it is not required to link an external debit card. Details about the separate product are on Cash App’s card page.

If the card does not link
The published instructions do not provide specific fixes for declined or unsupported cards, nor do they establish an Android version requirement or compatibility matrix. Confirm that the card fits the U.S. terms above and follow the prompts in the app. If it still will not link, consult Cash App’s current in-app help rather than relying on unverified alternate menu paths or fixes.
