Save an object’s name and location; later, you can search by keyword or describe the task you need to do and let an optional semantic search suggest matching records.
How A mano helps you find an item
The app is built around a familiar mismatch: you may remember needing “the thing that puts the computer screen on the TV” without recalling that it is a USB-C to HDMI adapter. A mano can connect that purpose-first description to an existing saved record. The example illustrates how the search is intended to work; it is not evidence that this is a common query.

Each record can include an object name, the room where it belongs, a more precise location, and an optional description. Once you have entered an item, literal keyword search is available. An optional semantic model can also compare an everyday description of a task with existing records and suggest likely matches.
Those suggestions retrieve records, not physical objects: the item must be catalogued first, and the location is only useful if it is accurate and current. A semantic match is a lead to check, not proof that the item is there.

- 【IP67 PROTECTION WITH SILICONE CASE】 The tracker tag itself is not water-resistant. IP67-rated water and dust protection applies only when the included silicone holder is correctly and fully installed. - 【UP TO 70dB SOUND, NOTIFICATIONS & EASY BATTERY REPLACEMENT】 When the item is nearby, use the Find My app to play a sound up to approximately 70dB in an open environment. Separation notifications may be available depending on Find My settings, distance, and network conditions. To replace the battery, insert a coin or similar flat tool into the slot, turn 45° clockwise toward “Open,” install a CR2032 battery, then turn 45° counterclockwise toward “Close” until securely locked. Coin or tool not included.
What you can do with a collection
- Search saved records with literal keywords.
- Use optional semantic search to describe what you want to do rather than recall an object’s name.
- Edit an item’s location, mark favorites, and filter records by room.
- Export a backup of the collection.
The public demo and a personal collection are separate. The demo is described as containing ten synthetic records, so it demonstrates the idea rather than representing a real household inventory.
What is known about the search—and what is not
In the submitted build, the author says the optional model runs in the browser and ranks existing names, descriptions, and tags using text embeddings. Literal matches are retained and shown first. The implementation is reported to use Transformers.js 3.8.1, a pinned quantized ONNX conversion of paraphrase-multilingual-MiniLM-L12-v2, and a Web Worker. These are details reported by the author about that build, not independent verification.

- [Compatible with Android and iOS] This tracking tag is officially certified by Apple and Google and works with Google's "Find My Device" app and Apple's "Find My Device" app, so there are no compatibility issues. (Note: It does not support simultaneous connection of multiple devices; only one device can be connected at a time.)
- [Easily Find Nearby Items] New Tracking Tags - 4-pack, say goodbye to the hassle of losing valuables. Whether it's a suitcase, handbag, car keys, backpack, or any other essential, simply tap in the Find Center app, and the tracking tag will emit a loud 120-decibel tick to locate your item. The Find Center app makes it easy to find lost items, with no monthly fees or subscriptions. (Note: Not compatible with Huawei devices.)
- [Global Tracking]: Track your items using the Google Find My Device app (Android) or the Apple Find My app (iOS). Within Bluetooth range (up to 120 feet), you can activate the built-in speaker to locate your item by sound. Once out of range, simply view the last known location on a map to quickly retrieve it.
- [Sharing Mode, Privacy and Security]Share with family members to help them find your items. You can also share the tracker's location with family members. (Note: Cannot pair with both Android and iOS devices simultaneously. Tracking tags allow you to view your real-time location. When the distance is less than 120 feet (approximately 37 meters), you can use the app to play a sound and locate the device. Even if items are out of Bluetooth range, the "Find My" network (connecting millions of devices worldwide) can help you find them. We use the latest ISO data encryption and protection technology to ensure your location data is encrypted and inaccessible even to the manufacturer.)
- [IP67 Waterproof, Replaceable Battery] This tracking tag boasts an IP67 waterproof rating, crafted with premium materials and superior workmanship, effectively preventing splashes and brief immersion. It uses the latest CR2032 button battery, offering up to 10 years of battery life. The tracking tag will remind you to replace the battery when it's low, and the removable design makes battery replacement easy.
The author reports 55 unit tests, production compilation, and browser checks of common collection actions and ONNX inference. In an evaluation of eleven synthetic target queries against the ten-object demo, literal search found two target records and the hybrid approach found nine. The same report notes misses on an Allen-key paraphrase and a sofa-measuring paraphrase, while two examples for objects absent from the collection returned no result. These small synthetic examples are not a user study, independent validation, or an accuracy guarantee.

The author describes personal records as stored in the browser, without synchronization or encryption. That can suit a personal, local catalogue, but it does not provide synced access across devices or encrypted storage as described. Consider the sensitivity of the locations you enter and use the export option to keep a backup.

- Dual-System Compatibility: Our tracker tags work seamlessly with both iOS and Android systems, covering mainstream devices. This Bluetooth tracker pairs effortlessly with Apple's “Find My” or Google's “Find Hub” app without subscription fees. (Note: Cannot pair with iOS and Android devices simultaneously.)
- Privacy Protection: Both iOS and Android “Find” networks transmit data through encrypted, anonymous networks. No location information, history, or item-related data is stored, this dual system tracker ensuring comprehensive user privacy protection.
- Device Sharing: Using new Android features or iOS 17, you can share air tracker tag access with others via Google Find Hub or the “Find” app, allowing them to view real-time location maps of your items.
- High-Volume Alert: Close-Range Search—The app displays the distance to lost items (Bluetooth range up to 36 meters) to narrow your search area. Trigger an 80-100 decibel alert from the built-in speaker via Google Find Hub or Apple's Find My app—ideal for locating items in cluttered spaces like sofa crevices or drawers. Even if the item is out of sight, a single button press activates the smart tracker tag's alert.
- Simple Setup: This tracker for android or iOS pairs effortlessly with Android or iOS devices in seconds, automatically adapting to your chosen platform (connects to only one platform at a time).
The initial download of model and runtime assets is reported by the author as approximately 160 MB. A loaded session was reported to search with the network disabled; that does not establish that the app can reload and work offline. Semantic suggestions can also be wrong, so check the record and its location before relying on it.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is A mano a fit for your home?
A mano is most useful if you are willing to catalogue items as you put them away and keep their locations updated. Its distinctive idea is searching by intended use when a name escapes you; its practical value still depends on the quality of the inventory. If you want an app that discovers unrecorded objects, guarantees a location, or syncs an encrypted collection, those capabilities are not established by the project description.
