Collect the same details for every event
Ask the person responsible for an event to send its public title, date, local start and end time, location, short description, audience or contact, and whether it repeats. This is a useful church workflow checklist, not a list of mandatory plugin fields.
Set a review and correction routine

Can I add recurring church events to WordPress?

For imported events
The Events Calendar readme describes a built-in CSV import tool and a separate Event Aggregator service for automatic imports from sources including Google Calendar, Meetup, Eventbrite, and CSV/ICS. An import does not settle who is responsible for accuracy. Identify the source of truth, confirm how edits flow, and assign a person to review errors or duplicates.
