To get an alert when text changes on a website, create a monitor in Wachete, enter the page URL, select the text or page area to watch, and choose how often Wachete checks it and where to send alerts. Monitoring runs on Wachete’s servers, so your computer or phone can be off.
Create a Wachete monitor
- In Wachete, click Create new monitor.
- Choose the option for a single page or part of a page, then enter the website URL. Wachete also describes options for password-protected pages and media files.
- In the preview or monitor configuration, choose the whole page or select the specific content containing the text you care about.
- Set the check frequency and notification type, then save the monitor. Wachete’s setup fields include the URL, monitor name, frequency, monitored part, and whether the value is plain text or numeric; a value-changed alert is added automatically.

Choose what counts as a change
Monitor only the relevant text
If you care about a particular price, status, announcement, or other text, select that part of the page rather than the whole page when available. A whole-page monitor can also react to unrelated changes such as rotating promotions or counters. Wachete supports whole-page and selected-part monitoring, including dynamic and password-protected pages, according to its features page.
Alert on any change or on specific text
The automatically added value-changed alert is suitable when any change to the monitored value matters. Wachete also supports rules for specific text appearing or disappearing. Use an appearance rule when you are waiting for a phrase or status to show up, and a disappearance rule when you want to know when existing text is removed.

Reduce noisy notifications
If a page contains sections that change frequently but do not matter to you, Wachete says you can ignore those areas. You can also choose a daily or weekly summary instead of receiving separate alerts for every detected change.
Choose how often to check and where alerts go
Select the frequency offered in your monitor’s settings and choose a destination. Wachete lists email, phone notification, and chat integrations including Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, and Telegram. Monitoring runs on Wachete’s servers, so checks do not depend on a browser tab remaining open or your device staying powered on. You can review the monitor’s history and notifications after saving it to see subsequent changes.
Read a Wachete change alert
Wachete says its notification email marks removed content in red and added content in green. This helps you distinguish deletions from additions without comparing two page versions manually. The service also supports alerts for specified text appearing or disappearing, rather than relying only on a general page-change alert.

Troubleshoot missed or noisy alerts
- Unrelated changes trigger alerts: narrow the monitored part to the text you need, or ignore frequently changing sections such as ads, dates, or counters.
- The page requires a login or loads content dynamically: Wachete lists password-protected and dynamic pages among its supported monitoring cases. Confirm that the monitor is configured for the correct page and content area.
- You are not receiving the notification where expected: reopen the monitor settings and check both its notification type and destination. Wachete’s listed destinations include email, phone notification, and the named chat integrations.
- You need a phrase-specific signal: use an alert for text appearing or disappearing rather than a general change alert.
- You want fewer separate messages: configure a daily or weekly summary if that option suits your monitoring needs.
